Wishing you a very happy Easter. I hope you are enjoying the spring season as much as I am. I really love this time of year when new growth is popping out everywhere. The nights are lighter and seem longer, the temperature is warmer and we seem to have more energy. I am stepping up my running now that it is light enough for me to run in the evenings. What are you planning on starting at this time of year?
 
Temptation Everywhere

There is usually a lot of chocolate around at this time of year. So many people feel very tempted to join in the chocolate frenzy. But it is also the time of year when many people start thinking about wanting to lose weight ready for the summer months. Oh what a dilemma! Here is a tapping script that can help:
 
Write down your score on a scale of 0 - 10 first (where 10 is maximum temptation/guilt etc).
 
Setup:
Tap on the Karate Chop whilst repeating three times:
  • Even though I feel so tempted by all this lovely chocolate, I'm willing to accept myself anyway
  • Even though I feel disappointed with myself because I really want to gobble up all this chocolate, I'm willing to forgive myself 
  • Even though I feel torn because I want to eat this chocolate and I want to lose weight, I love and accept myself anyway
Eyebrow: All this chocolate is tempting me so much
Side of Eye: I'm so disappointed with myself
Under Eye: I find it so hard with all this chocolate around
Under Nose: The kids won't notice if I eat some of it
Chin: It's so hard having all this chocolate around
Collarbone: How can I lose weight with all this chocolate around
Under Arm: It smells so good
Top of Head: I should be able to control myself more easily
 
Eyebrow: But it's so difficult with all this temptation
Side of Eye: It seems like everyone is eating chocolate
Under Eye: I feel so bad when I try to not do the same
Under Nose: I really want to eat some gorgeous chocolate
Chin: I wouldn't be able to stop once I start though
Collarbone: I can't just have a little bit
Under Arm:  I find it so hard to stop eating chocolate once I start 
Top of Head: I'll feel so guilty if I give in to temptation
 
Eyebrow: I'm open to thinking about this differently
Side of Eye: What if I could give myself a break
Under Eye: Maybe I'm doing my best under the circumstances
Under Nose: Easter is a tempting time
Chin: What if wasn't bothered about eating chocolate
Collarbone: Maybe I can resist this chocolate
Under Arm: What if I enjoyed some fresh fruit instead
Top of Head: I'm open to not being bothered by all this chocolate

Use your words where appropriate to really tune in to how you feel. Keep tapping until you no longer feel tempted by chocolate. You can do it!

Spending time is nature is very important to me. I find it peaceful, uplifting, energising and inspiring. Spring is the perfect time to increase your time in nature as the weather allows us to be outdoors more often & without wrapping up! Where do you like to go to get your nature dose? Make sure you do this as often as you can to recharge yourself and get a break from your daily routine.
 
Fitting in EFT
One of our biggest challenges is actually making the time to help ourselves feel better. We all have the ability to do this, it's just sometimes we can't find the time. The beauty of EFT of course, is that it usually works very quickly. I'm going to bring you ways to fit EFT in each month, so you can find the time to feel better.
 
Tap Before Bed:
Tapping before bed is wonderful. It is the perfect antidote to a busy day. It allows you to let go of all that has happened and work on anything that didn't go as you would have liked. If your mind is busy tapping can help still it. If you have aches or pains, tapping can help you feel better. If you can't wind down or find it difficult to sleep, tapping is very helpful.  I hope you find it as useful as I do.
