Free Flowing Energy
Hi ,
Welcome to the August Newsletter. It seems like we've had the best of the summer weather and we're left with this mix of rain and occasionally sunny days. I hope that you are managing to make the most of the remainder of the summer anyway!
Indecision
Do you ever get those times when you just can't make a decision. You get so confused between the different options and spend ages weighing them all up. Do you wonder if you are listening to your gut instinct or if you are just resisting making a decision or resisting one of the options? EFT can really help with this process. If you are suffering from stress, anxiety or sleepless nights over this decision, then use EFT on those symptoms as well as the problem of making the decision.
Here is a tapping script that can help you get out of this indecision. Write down your score on a scale of 0 - 10 first (where 10 is maximum indecision).
Setup:
Tap on the Karate Chop whilst repeating three times:
- Even though I can't decide between A and B, I'm open to the possibility I can trust my gut instinct
- Even though I don't know which way to move forward, I deeply and completely accept myself anyway
- Even though I have this polarity issue, I love and accept myself anyway
Eyebrow: I can't make this decision
Side of Eye: I don't know how to move forward
Under Eye: I can't tell if I'm resisting this decision or listening to my gut instinct
Under Nose: It's so hard to make this decision
Chin: I wish my gut instinct was clearer
Collarbone: I wish I knew if I was resisting this decision
Under Arm: I hate having this polarity issue, it's so confusing
Top of Head: I wish I could trust my gut instinct
Eyebrow: I can't decide between A and B
Side of Eye: It feels right to go with A
Under Eye: But am I just resisting B?
Under Nose: I feel I should go with A
Chin: B just doesn't feel right to me
Collarbone: My instinct is telling me to go with A
Under Arm: Maybe I'm resisting B though
Top of Head: It's so difficult to decide between A and B
Eyebrow: I'm open to letting it be easy to make this decision
Side of Eye: What if could trust my gut instinct
Under Eye: Maybe I can really tune into my instincts
Under Nose: Maybe I can let it be easy to make this decision
Chin: What if I could trust my gut instinct
Collarbone: Maybe I can move forward easily
Under Arm: What if I'm not resisting, I'm just listening to my instincts
Top of Head: I'm open to letting it be easy to make this decision
Use your words where appropriate to really tune in to how you feel. Remember to keep tapping until the issue has fully resolved.
You can repeat swapping between the options until you really feel you have made the right choice. Remember to use EFT on any other aspects that are related to you making this decision.
Energy Exercise of the Month
Taking Down the Flame
This is another quick one - 1 - 2 minutes.
Benefits:
- Grounding
- Calms you down
- Releases panic/hysterical feelings
- Releases fire
- Stand with your open hands resting on your thighs, fingers spread. Tune into the energy running down your legs, as you become more grounded.
- Throughout the exercise, breathe slowly and deeply making a "Haaaaaaa" sound as you exhale. Imagine the chaos, clutter or fire of your mind dissolving with each sigh.
- Inhale deeply as you circle your arms widely over your head until your thumbs and fingertips meet.
- Exhale with the "Haaaaaaa" sound, bringing your thumbs down to your crown chakra, above the centre of your head. Keeping your thumbs and fingertips touching, breathe in.
- Exhale with the "Haaaaaaa" sound, bringing your thumbs to your eyebrow centre (3rd eye). Keeping them there as you inhale.
- Exhale with the "Haaaaaaa" sound, bring your thumbs down to the points between your breasts (sea of tranquility). Keeping your thumbs and fingertips touching as you breathe in.
- Exhale with the "Haaaaaaa" sound, bringing your thumbs to your navel, rolling your fingertips so they form a pyramid beneath your navel. Remain in this position as you breathe in.
- Exhale with the "Haaaaaaa" sound, flatten your hands, returning them to the original position on your thighs. Remain in this position as you inhale.
- Exhale with the "Haaaaaaa" sound, slowly release your hands down your legs as you bend over. Let your hands hang by your sides as you breathe in.
- Still hanging down, exhale with the "Haaaaaaa" sound. Inhale as you return to standing again, bringing your hands to their original position on your thighs. Exhale with a final "Haaaaaaa" sound.

Failure can seem so difficult and yet we can learn so much from it. Edison said he found thousands of ways not to make an electric light before he found the right way! That is the attitude to develop. If you find it difficult when you make a mistake or fail in some way, then do some tapping. Write down the positive things that you have learnt and ways you could improve what you have already learnt. In NLP we say there is no failure only feedback. So use that feedback and adjust your actions or behaviours so that you learn and can move forward in a positive way. You can read more here.
Fitting in EFT
One of our biggest challenges is actually making the time to help ourselves feel better. We all have the ability to do this, it's just sometimes we can't find the time. The beauty of EFT of course, is that it usually works very quickly. I'm going to bring you ways to fit EFT in each month, so you can find the time to feel better.
Finger Tapping Whilst Reading Email:
Last month I mentioned using the fingertip points, whilst sitting there in front of your computer. You can do this every time you read your email. This creates an anchor to remind you to tap at this time. So to recap, use your thumb to tap the fingertip points on the same hand. You can either just do one hand at a time or both. I usually find it best to rest my hands in my lap to do this. If you tap every time you read your email, you are creating a regular practice of tapping to calm you down and tone your energy system. This helps the energy flow more smoothly and helps you feel better.
