Welcome to the November Newsletter. I hope that you are coping with this colder weather ok. I am adjusting to the darker nights now and hope that you are too. If not repeat the tapping script from last month. I hope you enjoy this month's newsletter.
 
Time For Reflection
As we approach the end of the year, it is a good time to reflect back on what the year has brought us. It may be that you have achieved all of your goals and had a fantastic year. On the other hand, it may be that you have not achieved your goals and instead been faced with many challenges. If this is the case, then now is a good time to work out what you have learnt from these experiences, what you perhaps would do next time and how you can move forward in a positive way from now on.
 
Here is a tapping script that can help you.  Write down your score on a scale of 0 - 10 first (where 10 is maximum frustration/disappointment etc).
 
Setup:
Tap on the Karate Chop whilst repeating three times:
  • Even though I haven't achieved my goals, I still deeply and completely accept myself
  • Even though I feel disappointed I haven't achieved what I set out to do, I deeply and completely accept myself anyway
  • Even though I've had all these setbacks and challenges, I love and accept myself anyway
Eyebrow: I haven't achieved my goals
Side of Eye: I feel so disappointed with myself
Under Eye: I've let myself down
Under Nose: I feel like a failure
Chin: I had all these setbacks
Collarbone: But I still feel disappointed
Under Arm: I should have tried harder
Top of Head: I hate myself for not achieving my goals
 
Eyebrow: I should have tried harder
Side of Eye: If only I hadn't had all those challenges
Under Eye: I could have done more
Under Nose: I found it so hard to get going again
Chin: I lost my momentum
Collarbone: I didn't have the motivation to start again
Under Arm:  I beat myself up again because I could've tried harder
Top of Head: I'm a big failure again
 
Eyebrow: I'm open to being kinder to myself
Side of Eye: What if could bring some healing to this now
Under Eye: Maybe I can learn from these challenges
Under Nose: Maybe I did do my best under the circumstances
Chin: I can look at what I've learnt
Collarbone: Maybe I can see some positives
Under Arm: What if I did learn something
Top of Head: I'm open to letting it be easy to learn from these experiences

Use your words where appropriate to really tune in to how you feel. Keep tapping until you feel better about yourself and you can appreciate what you have achieved and what you have learnt. I believe there is no failure - only feedback. I hope that EFT can help you believe that too!
  
Energy Exercise of the Month
 
Wayne Cook Posture
This exercise is great to do if you are feeling overwhelmed, scrambled, can't concentrate or focus and just can't think straight.

Benefits:
  • Think more clearly
  • Focus more easily
  • Easier to learn
  • Gain perspective
  • Calm you down

This is another quick one - about 2 minutes.  

  • Sit down and place your right foot over your left knee. Wrap your left hand around your right ankle and your right hand around the ball of your right foot.
  • Inhale through your nose as you bring your leg towards you using your hands (creating a stretch). Your body will also lift at the same time.
  • Exhale through your mouth slowly as you relax the stretch.
  • Repeat 4 or 5 times.
  • Do the same on the other side. This time your left foot is on your right knee. Wrap your right hand around your left ankle and your left hand around the ball of your left foot.
  • Repeat the same breathing and stretching on this side 4 or 5 times.
  • Uncross your legs and rest your feet on the floor.
  • Steeple your fingertips together and place your thumbs on your third eye (in between your eyebrows). Breathe slowly through your nose. As you breathe out slowly through your mouth, allow your thumbs to spread out across your forehead, stretching the skin.
  • Return your thumbs to your third eye. Slowly bring your hands down in a prayer position in front of you. Relax into your breathing.
Perform this one if you have had a confrontation or before you engage in a confrontation too.

When we have real enthusiasm for something things flow much easier. Our energy is uplifted and we can easily uplift others around us. Notice when you are filled with enthusiasm and watch how easily things go. Seek out those things that fill you with enthusiasm and enjoy them more often.
 
Fitting in EFT
One of our biggest challenges is actually making the time to help ourselves feel better. We all have the ability to do this, it's just sometimes we can't find the time. The beauty of EFT of course, is that it usually works very quickly. I'm going to bring you ways to fit EFT in each month, so you can find the time to feel better.
 
Tap At Work:
This is a great time to do tapping. It is often our jobs that stress us out the most. So why not clear out that stress right away. You can finger tap at your desk or do full blown tapping in the toilet (great if you don't want to be seen). So the next time you get overloaded with extra work - tap. When your colleague lets you down again - tap. When you get nervous at a meeting - tap. There are lots of opportunities to tap at work!
