Welcome to the December Newsletter. Well I'm not quite sure where the last couple of months went!  Time seems to have flown by and I can't quite believe it is only days before Christmas. I hope you enjoy this month's newsletter.
 
Lonely This Christmas
Christmas is traditionally a time which we spend with our families and friends. But not all of us are privileged to be able to do that. There are many people who spend Christmas alone. This may be through choice or it may be something that is forced upon you due to circumstances. Whatever the reason, it can be a lonely time highlighted by the fact that it seems like everyone else is spending it with their loved ones.
 
Here is a tapping script that can help you.  Write down your score on a scale of 0 - 10 first (where 10 is maximum loneliness/sadness).
 
Setup:
Tap on the Karate Chop whilst repeating three times:
  • Even though I feel so lonely at this time of year, I still deeply and completely accept myself
  • Even though I feel all alone when everyone else seems to be with their family, I'm ok
  • Even though I feel so sad and lonely this Christmas, I love and accept myself anyway
Eyebrow: I'm so sad about Christmas
Side of Eye: I'm so lonely at this time of year
Under Eye: I've never felt so alone
Under Nose: I don't want to burden anyone else
Chin: I feel so sad and lonely
Collarbone: I hate feeling so lonely
Under Arm: I can't be with my family/friends
Top of Head: I really miss my family
 
Eyebrow: I wish I could be with my family
Side of Eye: I hate being by myself at this time of year
Under Eye: I don't want to have Christmas
Under Nose: I don't enjoy this time of year
Chin: I hate Christmas
Collarbone: I hate feeling so sad and lonely
Under Arm:  I hate being alone at Christmas
Top of Head: I can't enjoy myself because I'm all alone
 
Eyebrow: I'm open to feeling differently
Side of Eye: What if could feel a bit better
Under Eye: Maybe I can feel ok
Under Nose: Maybe I can feel less sad
Chin: What if I can feel ok by myself
Collarbone: Maybe I can let go of this loneliness
Under Arm: What if I enjoyed my own company
Top of Head: I'm open to enjoying myself

Use your words where appropriate to really tune in to how you feel. Keep tapping until you feel better.

I know we can feel resentful and hold grudges against people when they let us down or disappoint us etc. EFT is such a great tool for allowing us to feel our feelings, accept them and then let them go. Use EFT this Christmas to help yourself find your inner peace. Whether it is letting go of your stress, anxiety or resentful feelings. Use EFT whenever you start to feel you are losing touch with your inner peace. It is always there...sometimes life just gets in the way and we lose our focus. A round or two of tapping before you sit down to meditate works wonders at helping us focus and let go of the hustle and bustle of our minds. I hope you rediscover or indeed discover your inner peace this Christmas.
 
Fitting in EFT
One of our biggest challenges is actually making the time to help ourselves feel better. We all have the ability to do this, it's just sometimes we can't find the time. The beauty of EFT of course, is that it usually works very quickly. I'm going to bring you ways to fit EFT in each month, so you can find the time to feel better.
 
Tap While You Wrap:
Things can be a little crazy at this time of year with lots of things to do and prepare. So before you start your present wrapping take some time to prepare everything. Have all your presents ready, your tape, wrapping paper, labels, bows etc. Now sit quietly and remind yourself why you are doing all this. Think of the joy the person will get when they open their present. Do a bit of tapping on any stress, frustration, anxiety etc that comes up for you. Keep tapping until you feel calm. Your wrapping will go much better if you are calm and centered. Repeat tapping any time you feel your stress levels rising!

New Year Goals
Statistics show over half the people who make new year resolutions give up on them by the middle of the year. If you normally break your resolutions by June, why not try something different in 2012?
