Free Flowing Energy

Welcome to the October Newsletter. Well autumn has well and truly landed. The temperature has dropped, the nights are drawing in and the leaves are turning colour and falling. If the colder weather and darker nights are making you feel sluggish or miserable, then help is at hand.
 
Autumn Change 
Many people are affected by the change in season. Our ancestors were much more in tune with the seasons because they had to be. Living in the modern world, we are able to carry on doing what we do all year round. So if you find yourself feeling a bit down, sluggish, more tired than usual and craving comfort food - take note! Listen to what your body is trying to tell you!
 
Here is a tapping script that can help you.  Write down your score on a scale of 0 - 10 first (where 10 is maximum tiredness/sluggishness or feeling down etc).
 
Setup:
Tap on the Karate Chop whilst repeating three times:
  • Even though I hate the change of season, I still deeply and completely accept myself
  • Even though I feel tired and sluggish because of the dark nights and cold temperatures, I deeply and completely accept myself anyway
  • Even though I want to keep up with what I've been doing all year and I don't want to slow down, just because its autumn, I love and accept myself anyway
Eyebrow: I hate the change of season
Side of Eye: I feel so tired and sluggish at this time of year
Under Eye: I don't like it when it gets colder
Under Nose: I feel a bit down
Chin: I don't want to slow down
Collarbone: But my energy levels are dropping
Under Arm: I feel tired all the time
Top of Head: I hate losing the energy of the summer
 
Eyebrow: I wish the clocks didn't have to go back
Side of Eye: I find it difficult going when it gets dark so early
Under Eye: I start craving comfort stodgy food
Under Nose: I want to carry on but it is so cold and dark
Chin: I wish my energy levels would stay up
Collarbone: But I get so tired and feel so sluggish
Under Arm:  I hate the cold, dark nights and I don't feel like going out
Top of Head: I feel so down when summer ends
 
Eyebrow: I'm open to listening to my body
Side of Eye: What if could keep my energy levels up
Under Eye: Maybe I can adopt a slower pace
Under Nose: Maybe if I listen to what my body wants
Chin: I'll feel better in myself
Collarbone: Maybe my mood will lift if I get some daylight every day
Under Arm: What if I tuned in to the energy of autumn
Top of Head: I'm open to letting it be easy feel good at this time of year

Use your words where appropriate to really tune in to how you feel. Keep tapping until the issue has fully resolved.
Use EFT on any other aspects that are related to the change of season.
  
Energy Exercise of the Month
 
Human Touching Divine 
This exercise is perfect to do at this time of year. It helps you if you are feeling a loss, grief, loneliness or having difficulty letting go.  
 
Benefits:
  • Releasing/letting go
  • Opening up to the new

This is another quick one - 1 - 2 minutes.  

  • Stand up straight, holding your arms in front of you. Allow your fingers to almost touch. Imagine holding the world and it's problems or your own world and problems. Breathe in deeply. On each exhalation throughout this exercise make a "Ssssssss" noise (like air being let out of a balloon)
  • Inhale as you open your arms wide, releasing, surrendering and letting go of the world and the problems
  • Exhale with the "Ssssssss" sound, bringing your arms back in front of you. Your hands reach to touch each other but they cannot
  • Inhale again as you open your arms wide, releasing, surrendering and letting it all go
  • On the next exhalation you reach hands to touch one another and this time they make it
  • Inhale again, bringing your hands close to your chest, bringing the world to you. Hold the world with one hand on top of the other at your chest, cherishing the world as you hold onto it
  • With a last exhalation let your arms open wide, letting it all go. Letting go of the old, so you are open to the new
Repeat until you feel a shift in your energy.

Choose to be happy right now. If you don't have what you want then focus on the positives about your current situation. Work out a plan, set goals and strive for what you want. EFT can help us to release the negatives and focus on the positives. We don't have to wait until we get that job, make more money, buy that house etc to be happy. Be happy now and getting what you want will seem easier.
 
Fitting in EFT
One of our biggest challenges is actually making the time to help ourselves feel better. We all have the ability to do this, it's just sometimes we can't find the time. The beauty of EFT of course, is that it usually works very quickly. I'm going to bring you ways to fit EFT in each month, so you can find the time to feel better.
 
Tap and Walk:
If you spend any time walking during your day then you have the perfect opportunity to tap. We often go through things in our minds whilst we walk. We might replay conversations we've had, we might plan our day etc. If you don't feel like walking around in full view of people whilst you tap then you're not alone! You can either imagine tapping on the points as you walk (this might take a bit of practice!). The other simple solution is to use the finger tapping points instead. This is where you tap your thumb to each finger in turn. This is very discreet. You can choose to clear an issue you are working on or just tap and let your mind wander, clearing any negatives thoughts that come up. I love to tap and walk. I hope you find it useful too.
