Welcome to the

June 2015  -  Issue 12
Welcome June! It's been a few months since my last newsletter. My apologies. I am finding it hard to keep up with everything AND work outside getting the garden planted, weeding the flower beds, etc. Spring is such an invigorating time of year. I get so much more done now that the days are longer...then again, there's more to get done too! Hope you are enjoying your summer so far.
He's a senior!
I am having a hard time accepting the fact that our youngest, Ryan, will be finishing high school next year. I know it's so cliche to say "where does the time go?" but seriously, it's crazy scary how fast time slips away.

Ryan has grown into an amazing young man. He's very kind, sensible, intelligent, sincere and polite. He wants to be an engineer and attend Kettering University. It's a lofty goal but one I am certain he will accomplish.

He starts his first job next week. I'm a proud Mom.

I have changed the Gather Dream Create site to be open to everyone! No more membership fee. Now you can go here and watch inspiring videos, interviews and learn some tips about art. I do, however, charge a fee for workshops and tutorials.

(NOTE: all current members at the time I made the switch earlier this month will get all workshops and tutorials FREE throughout 2015)
Working on new punchneedle and cross stitch designs to be released in August! Above is just one of my new cross stitch charts named Country Santa. I will be sending a mass email alert to let you know when the new patterns are available. Go here to see all my current punchneedle and here for cross stitch.
Facebook has been a fun place to share inspiration, news and connect. For the most up-to-date news, Facebook is the place to be.

I also give aways. Yep, FREE stuff! Maybe you'll be the lucky winner of this angel print on wood! All you have to do to enter is click on the link below, scroll down to where you see the angel pictured here and follow the instructions. It's easy. Good luck!

If you haven't yet joined us on Facebook, you can do it here.

I am so excited to be a part of PHM! The third Thursday of every month at 9pm, handmade primitives are offered by a group of prim artists. I joined the group in November and just love it! Go here to see the offerings.
Harvest at the Mill show

I am thinking ahead and have already started making goodies for the September Harvest at the Mill show! This show is primitive which is so fun to paint for! Below is an example of some new and different art I am creating to introduce at this year's show. Check out their blog for more information.
A new member of the family...
Meet Athena. I wasn't planning on getting another dog but some friends of ours son was moving and had to find her a new home. I was resistant at first but now that she's settled in I am enjoying her playfulness....well, not all the time. It's a lot a work having a pup around! She's a 9 month old boxer, pitbull, lab mix. We've all fallen in love with her. I should say all us humans anyway. Daisy isn't too thrilled about having to share the limelight.
