Great Shift Blog #8 Dear Fellow Travelers Many spiritual traditions teach that the life we experience in physical bodies on Earth is an illusion. Even mainstream science agrees with this in way, when we consider that what we experience as solid physical objects are really mostly empty space when viewed at the subatomic level. From my perspective
the question Is our experience on Earth real or an illusion? is like the question Is the glass half-full or half-empty? Both answers are true and it may be that how the questions are answered says more about the person answering the question than about the nature of truth. I have used my training as a scientist to understand what I often refer to as a larger, or multidimensional reality that
encompasses all that is accepted by mainstream science and much more (I describe the approach I developed in Chapters 2, 3 and 4 of my Great Shift ebook). I could just as well describe my understanding of multidimensional reality as multidimensional illusion because my sense is that any
aspect of Oneness that identifies itself as having a sense of identify that is different from other aspects of Oneness is unable to know the full nature of the Oneness that encompasses everything. Of course there are many ways to understand multidimensional reality/illusion. I prefer saying reality because I'm a the-glass-is-half-full kind of guy in this lifetime, and because despite memories of
and experiences in other dimensional realms the physical realm remains the most real-feeling to me. One of the truly amazing things that is happening on Earth at this time is that humanity is collectively making a dimensional/density shift along with Gaia while still in our physical bodies, an unprecedented event in the corner of the cosmos that we inhabit. I'm not sure exactly what it means to make such a shift while in a physical body. We may experience some bumps along the way, but I
