"Your guidance is shown in every leaf. The purple one is purple citrus mistress from new420guy. The other is Jack Herer, Sour Diesel and AK-48.
The lighting is from that Pacific Light Concepts diy LED strips I told you about back in June, I am running 32 strips in 4 groups of 8 with remote mounted LED drivers.
Grown in Supersoil with 5 gal fabric pots and pH water between 6.0 and 7 with occasional doses of bottled spring water as per your suggestion. The USB microscope is from your suggestion during our class. And, the class videos are a weekly showing for me since I just keep getting more out of them. My latest grow is really trained, wide, open, tabletop flat and flowering wonderfully. You would be impressed, well, I sure am.
Please say hello to Nebula"

Grower Trick: Detect Bud Rot Earlier
"Love the GWE weekly email. My Sunday routine usually involves taking several minutes to digest the latest issue.
I want to thank you for the opportunity to share information with you and possibly others.
So, here is my offering to Tips and Tricks.
I have been using an IR thermometer for a while to measure leaf temp.
Well, I just stumbled onto another use for the IR thermometer. What I found is that an IR thermometer can DETECT bud rot sooner than you can visually!! Yep, that’s right.
I recently found that one of my very large and prominent buds was about 10 degrees F, hotter than any other bud in the room. At first I didn’t think too much about it but the next day it was still hotter than other buds; later that day I could see early but significant bud rot.
Please keep the information flowing FREELY."
~Jack
In short, you can use an IR Thermometer to check for bud rot. Look for spots on bud that are significantly hotter than other buds.
Note: We haven't tested this trick ourselves, but the logic behind it is sound so it seems worth passing along.
On a separate note, IR Thermometers are also great for checking temps when making tinctures. It's way easier than using a candy thermometer like in the picture below.
"This is my 3rd growing season, these are outdoor plants, gorilla glue no.4, silver haze, and purple punch, just want peoples opinions? Any criticism is good!?!?"

Grower Trick: Pour Nutrients Easier
"Great articles. We've learned soooo much from you, and you are our go-to-site whenever we need some guidance.
I was reading your Best Coco Coir Nutrients article and it said something about using Pipette for getting nutes out of the bottle, and also showed a pix of you pouring pH down into measuring spoons. Maybe this helps - I use those squeezable bottles like you get in a restaurant. I have one squeeze bottle for each nutrient that I use. I picked them up from Amazon - Plastic Condiment Squeeze Bottle. I just label each one using a small piece of Blue Painter's tape.
Refill when necessary. I can easily squirt out the right amount into my measuring spoons without spilling or waste. Makes things a lot easier for me. Thought this might be a good tip. Great job by the way. You folks are awesome!"
~Moose the Cat
This is a great suggestion! When pouring messy nutrients like GH Micro, avoid pouring directly into a spoon like this:
Instead, use a squeeze bottle like Moose the Cat suggested and avoid spills!
"Not sure what these are? But they are growing nicely with water and soil from buffalo poop😂 These were taken yesterday. Any thought on how long?"
~Geeba
"Started with seeds, Plant 1 footers On April 1. Oregon has warm but wet Aprils. Used Ocean Fox Farms. Did not Add Dyna Grow until June 1st. Did a lot of Fim work to keep them bushy. Will be ready sometime by Oct 1st.
P.S. I love the smell of Bud in the Morning, Smells like VICTORY!"

"Hey guys
This is a plant that started growing very early spring in my compost pile where I dump my soil from previous indoor grows one of which had a hermaphrodite plant which turned my grow into a seed bank not realizing some seeds must of popped into the soil well out of the ground came this I believe it’s strain to be zookies it’s currently in 4 or 5th week of flower looking forward to more colors to come.
Thank you! for ur site I couldn’t tell you the wealth of info I’ve gained from the site."

Grower Trick: Extra Weed?
"I just wanted to let you, that when you "vape", not the cartridge kind! The kind that you pack with herb, and it heats to below combustion temps. You inhale the vapor. Anyway, I found through the grapevine, that when your vape is cached, you save that used material.
It is GREAT for cannabutter! No decarb necessary as it's already done through the vape (I use Pax). I get the strongest brownies!"
~Carla
The stuff that comes out of a vape is definitely usable again. In fact, it has a name: ABV, which stands for "Already been Vaped". Carla rediscovered a way to get the most out of vaporized weed. If you haven't tried using ABV, you should. It's free!
GWE has so many articles
it's hard just to find them all!
|
Here at GrowWeedEasy.com, we've been making new content for nearly a decade!
A side effect of writing all those articles over the years is that it becomes hard to even find it all.
Today, I present you with two incredibly beefy* links:
- This page is a collection of the most read and visited pages on the site. Bookmark this one, because we update it as new articles are added!
- Every article on GWE gets listed here. If you're looking to read way too many growing articles, this is the place to do it.
*links contain no actual beef. No animals were harmed in the making of GrowWeedEasy.com. However, some plants were harmed by our cat.

"Just wanted to say what an amazing site you've made. For years I've toyed with the idea of growing, googled growing weed many many times and never found anything like this. All the informations laid out simply and its easy to take in and understand even for a dummy like me. So I've invested in a little beginner grow tent for 1 plant, see what happens. Anyway thanks for the effort, it's definitely helped me understand everything I was unclear on."

"I just wanted to say thank you. Your site keeps things easy to understand and VERY helpful. Most sites make you feel like you need a PhD to grow pot. Again thank you."

"Love the different colors on these buds. Keep swiping for a closeup of their trichomes. Sparkly!
I feel like the 250W HPS grow light really seems to bring out each plant's individual color. The buds under my 315 LEC grow light were just as frosty, but all the hairs and bud colors didn't seem as bright. Even for some of the same strains like the THC Bomb Auto pictured here with orange hairs. I've grown that strain multiple times and it's never been bright like that.

doesn't increase the difficulty much, if any. But whether you want to grow in water, coco, or a different medium, we'll show you how easy it can be!"
