Hello !

Today's tech tip continues our run of tips about molds.  Recently when I was at Ikea, I noticed stainless steel tumblers in the bathroom section.  The perfect size for votive formers!  And at just a few dollars each, they fit my budget too.  So, of course, I bought 2 and brought them straight home and into the kiln they went.

They worked perfectly!  Make sure you scrub off the label completely, and then kiln wash them.  I used MK-97 Boron Nitride spray.

Free April Kiln Carving Pattern  NOTE:  The individual kiln carving patterns for 2012 will be disappearing from the Shop at the beginning of May.

Thanks so much for reading.  If you have a recycled glass question, I'd love to help with it!
