A Journal For Channelling Divine Guidance by Anita Revel) How Hathor is helping me this week I'm shape-shifting big time! And Hathor is helping me do it.... Greetings sisters! Two years ago, this is what I wrote in my journal: Right here, right now, it doesn't matter if I don't know who I am and what I want from this life. Right here, right now, it only matters that I am gentle with my Self while I explore and play. I don't need goals to feel worthy; I only need to know it's OK to go slow, to smell the coffee and enjoy the rain. There is as much beauty to be found in the prism of a raindrop as there is in the achievement of a five-year plan. It's OK to start over if the rainclouds are grey. There is no better smell than a garden after a soaking; the unfurling of new shoots, reaching for the rainbow after a downpour. This is the smell I will recall if the horizon is cloudy. This smell will remind me of how revitalising a storm can be. Instead of being a dampener, a storm makes everything look new again. It wipes clean the slate, gives me a chance to re-position my roots and my direction. It is cleansing, imbibing me with positivity and optimism. Hathor, be with me as I shake off the old and emerge from the mud as the phoenix, all fire and passion, to help me start again in yet another phase of my beautiful life. Now, two years on, I am ready to emerge. As I hinted in my last newsletter, I am preparing to transform ten acres of land from an overgrown historic homesite into a heart-centric and beautiful weddings and functions venue. This dream is so HOT for me, so RIGHT, that I am now on complete course to getting it done. In doing the River Test*, I am in FULL FLOW of achieving this dream! But in developing my business plan, I realise it's going to take a lot of money! Greetings sisters! I trust this note finds you settling into this wild and precious year with ease. I am astounded with the energy I've been enjoying over the last month. Thanks to new health practices and big vision plans becoming clearer and more tangible every day, I am totally squealing with delight on this new-year-energy-wave. One of the big plans I have is to build a chapel on our property in Margaret River. I have sketched up the design, and my husband and I stepped out the site plan yesterday. I showed his where I'm going to put the picnic tables (for picnic-vintage-outdoor weddings and celebrations), and when the 35 degree heat got too much, we sat under the century-old flame trees while I painted my vision in words. There will be breezy fabric adorning the indoor/outdoor chapel, lanterns hanging from the trees, picnic games for the guests to play, double-seater swings for the couples in love, and a hundred gorgeous props scattered around the grounds to delight every photographer. There'll be white flags and bunting through the trees, Jacaranda flowers on the floor, blue skies above and romance absolutely everywhere. (This photo is of my 4-year-old blessing the jacarandas as we planted each one last year. She blessed each one with the words, Grow well tree, and make me lots of purple flowers.) And of course, there will be people. This place, our Margaret River Heartland, that has been home the family since 1932, will welcome thousands of loved-up couples, families, friends and communities to celebrate the formation of new family after new family. That, my friends, is my vision. It is beautiful, no? In breathing life into the vision, however, I must surrender something to free up my time. After much heart-searching (actually, only 10 minutes thanks to the River Test*), I have decided to put my beloved Goddess-ence business on the market. Yes, it's true. The Goddess-ence business is for sale. Those of you who have known me since 2004, know that the Goddess-ence 100% pure essential oil blends are very special. Blended with 100% pure essential oils, these soul-quenching Goddess-ence blends are loved by thousands of women, yoga teachers, massage therapists, natural healers, chakra healers (and so on) for daily anointing and promoting a state of goddess-ness in their lives. But now it is time to pass the custodianship of these beautiful oils to someone else. Over the past nine years, I have established Goddess-ence as the premium chakra oil blends available on the market, anywhere in the world. However, I have not worked actively in promoting the oils for a year now, and so am not maximising the potential of this lucrative little home-business. There is so much potential for this business I feel that I am not doing it justice by hanging on to it. While I do have some established retail channels that are excellent (the 7 Day Chakra Workout, for example), I am not strong in other areas - eg, I do not have a distributor for the retail market. If you were to secure a distributorship, your business would pay for itself within weeks. I know, I know - why aren't I doing something about distributorship myself? The answer is simple: I don't have the time! And, I have too many other passions clamouring for my attention. Like, Getting the Goddess For Life coach certification program underway. Building a chapel and wedding venue, for another example. Hand-watering 25 baby Jacaranda trees twice a week, as yet another. So, I'm now offering this precious baby up to find a new custodian who will have the time to grow her into a thriving, healthy adult. The new custodian will have more time than me to grow this business in a big way. You don't necessarily have to have the know-how because the sale price includes 4.5 hours of my time to personally coach you, identify new business opportunities (that are all in my to-do list), and transition all my contacts, contracts and clients to your care. To ensure you start off in a big way, I will: supply you with enough stock worth over $100,000 in the retail market, give you existing wholesale clients (I've already got their permission to sell the business), include copyright to an upmarket sister brand for day spas and beauty salons, introduce you to my aromatherapist and recipes exclusive to Goddess-ence. All you will need to do is adapt the branding to suit your vision, print labels and promotional collateral, and source bottles. Voila - an instant business ready to go! A destructive influence might include a manipulative person in your life, a habit of trash-talking yourself in the mirror, or boxes of stuff cluttering up your spare room. You will know what your destructive influences are when you tune into your intuition. (Need help?) For me, this year at least, my destructive influences are an emotional attachment I have to all my books. I love walking into my shed and seeing the boxes of my babies waiting to go to their new homes. In tuning in to my intuition, however, I know that they are not doing anyone any good sitting in my shed. They need to be out there. In your hands, being read, shared, used and learned from. So, for 2013, my resolution is to get my stock of books down to ZERO. Zip, nada, zilch. As I am very good at getting what I want (LOL), I'm certain that by 30 June 2013 I will have ZERO books left in my shed. I am thankful for the little blessings that present themselves to me hundreds of times a day.When you live with gratitude, taking notice of the thousands of daily blessings becomes your focus and takes priority over hardships, hurts and blame. When you blame others for their transgressions (or problems in general), you are keeping that sad situation in focus. Staying in this negative loop also acts as a metaphorical crutch, so you limp through life blaming others instead of accepting responsibility and moving on. When your attention is on gratitude for a warm bed, hot food, laughing children, good friends and even running water, you are charging your Self with positive power. Be grateful for every little miracle and feel yourself becoming super-charged. Throw away the crutch crafted with blame and resentment. Instead of saying, I blame you... reframe your thinking to: I am grateful for this lesson. Feel how this new attitude creates a world shift for your outlook and peace of mind. I am close to tears right now, swelling up with gratitude for your years of support and sisterhood. Let me tell you why... Last week, my Wii machine died. I've come to rely on using it as a morning ritual to do activities like: hoola-hooping to get warm (saves on firewood and trips to the wood heap, he he) planking to develop my upper body and core strength yoga to improve my balanceAnyway, I know I could do all these things without a Wii machine, but somehow, having it there makes me accountable for actually doing the work. It also tells me how well I'm doing it. Nevertheless, I was loathe to buy a new one. I have other things that are taking priority for my money - like planting Jacaranda trees on our property, for example. So I had to get creative... how could I manifest a Wii machine without spending money? GULP. The answer was clear but I was reluctant to acknowledge it: I must simply ask for it. What? Me? Ask for something? No! I'm a GIVER. I give away my time, my expertise, as many products as I can without my accountant having a hissy fit. It was a huge challenge, therefore, for me to ask for someone to give me a Wii machine. But I knew that in order to grow, and in order to create an energy flow, I must cross this comfort zone and open my mouth. Does anyone have a Wii machine they could sell me? Or better yet, give/barter? I wrote on my Facebook wall. Within minutes, I had an offer of a machine in exchange for one of my books. Done! How painless was that? After all the agony and panic and procrastination, it turns out all I had to do was ... ask! That was amazing enough, to actually get what I was asking for, but then the private message came... What struck me the most, that after many years of being an InnerGoddess member, this sister has been waiting for her chance to give something back to me. Can you imagine that? Thank you for caring! FAQs and Comments, Answered Poop! (Revised) © Anita Revel What I should have said... So my Get Anita out of the Poop headline didn't go down too well on Tuesday. Sorry about that. I was just trying to be light-hearted, which kind of back-fired. So, to clarify what I really meant, I spent this morning making this little video for you... It's my first-ever home video (so be kind! <--- joking again!) I'm actually quite camera-shy, so I'm proud of me for crossing this comfort zone... You can call me the One-Take-Wonder, and after seeing this you'll know why. It's off the cuff and occasionally I stutter and search for words, the book cover is a mirror image for some reason, and it's not all that polished... but I left it all intact because I want you to see first-hand how I really and truly am an authentic, real and true person! I also want you to see my raw passion for these oil blends. They change lives. I can't always explain how they do; I only know that they do. Anyway, watch this little video and see for yourself... I'm so grateful to all of you who took the time to personally respond to Tuesday's broadcast, whether it was by email or via a note on the Facebook wall. Are you really in the poop? No... I am well-fed (goodness am I well fed!), I live in a beautiful home, I am surrounded by beautiful people, and above all, I have my health. I am profoundly blessed and deeply happy. I have lots of exciting projects on the go (check just a few of them on the right!), my daughter is just delicious and loads of fun, my son is a fully-fledged magnificent young man that I'm intensely proud of, my husband adores me and the feeling is mutual... I am abundant beyond measure! Again, I'm sorry for making a little joke out of a prolonged technical issue that left me adrift for a few weeks. I hope you watch the video and get a better sense of my cheekiness and sense of fun - Baubo is definitely present in my persona! I don't use Facebook! This newsletter is not disappearing - it is just evolving to a new look and new content. So do stay on the list if you want to get news to inspire and reconnect with your inner goddess. How does quitting a 10-year passion feel wonderful? First of all, I'm only quitting the current format. I'm still as passionate about promoting the inner goddess as I ever was. I will continue to write advice and research and make it available, just in a different format. In answer to the overall vibe of the question, it feels wonderful because I have freed up some time to feed my precious soul, to fill it doing things that make me happy... It's wonderful because I've prioritised what's important, and the winners at the top of my priority list are my family, my health, my home and my community. I'm now spending only 2 hours in front of the computer a day, whereas I used to spend 15. It's wonderful because with the 13 hours I've freed up I'm socialising face-to-face, helping out in a real way, developing rich personal relationships, and feeling that what I'm doing now is going to leave a legacy more profound than a newsletter ever will... Your email sounds like a battle-cry In a way it was a battle-cry... I was declaring war on the technology that keeps me tied to a desk; to sticking with the old ways out of habit and fear of exploring new ways; and for grabbing onto the wings of new adventures and experiences that are enriching and nourishing... Apologies Gratitude Wow Poop! © Anita Revel Apologies... Thank you to the beautiful InnerGoddess members who have written to me lately to enquire about the absence of the InnerGoddess newsletter. You know this service has been as regular as clockwork for many years now. You could rely on a random message for your inner goddess every Monday to power you up for the week... I'm so sorry you haven't received a broadcast since April! Happily, I can tell you that I'm not ill; there is nobody holding me to ransom; and I'm not succumbing to rampant wanderlust. The truth behind the missing newsletters is, that due to technical difficulties with my contact management system, I've been unable to broadcast my regular newsletter for nearly two months now. It's as simple and as difficult as that... Really! Gratitude! It's pretty devastating (not to mention frustrating), to be out of action like this, but looking on the bright side, perhaps it's time for a change anyway?! Please know that I'm ever-so-grateful for your support over these past 10+ years. I have enjoyed writing these newsletters every week and receiving your emails with the wow - how did you know???? and that was so perfect! themes. I can rest easy knowing that each of you is opening the email that is most appropriate for you at each time, and I'm absolutely thrilled that you're even using some of the advice contained in each email! Even if you're just reading each goddess' story, and relating how she overcame adversity or a challenge so that you were able to achieve a victory in your own life (no matter how large or small), then well, my job is done.
