Replying or
Mentioning Others in Twitter:
- Quick Tip: If you are replying to someone else, or citing someone in a Twitter post:
- Remember to use the @ (at sign) and their TwitterName (no spaces):
- Right: "@KarlKasca" or "@karlkasca" (no quotes)
- *Not*: "@Karl Kasca" or "@karl kasca"
- Reason: putting the @ together with the twittername:
1) Makes the link active in Twitter so the person will see the reply (in Twitter), or
2) Alerts them to your mention (if they use an alert like:
TweetBeep.com.
