Today carries a special meaning because I was diagnosed last Mothers Day and I am here to tell the story because of the miracles God gave me. The moral of the story is that miracles exist and there are other miracles within a miracle that are sometimes not seen until you quiet the mind and remain in the present moment and observe them. With all the stresses of life we are sometimes blinded as to what really is important and remembering that there are lessons for us to learn along the journey. Lessons that can be turned into positive things in our life if we allow them to. For me having cancer and later remission was probably the most important lesson of my life - the lesson that woke me up to know that I wanted to make a difference in this world, you do not have to wait for something so drastic to become enlightened to this wisdom, simply quiet the mind, remain present, and observe the beauty of your life, think positive thoughts only.....before it is too late. I know that God has put us in each other's paths to fight our personal battles together and feed off of the positive energy of each other. I am personally inspired and my heart is touched by each of you and I am so happy with our forum. My fight with ovarian cancer since last mothers day 2009 is still winning too! Tests came back negative this last time, every day it is a battle trying to eat right, get outside, not have stress, and not think about the possibility of a relapse, and believe it myself, I know about that little lingering doubt that sets in!!!!!! ...
