The Indiana Wine Trail is hosting their annual SPRING INTO THE VALLEY event April 21st - 22nd from 11am-5pm. The six wineries along the trail will offer special breads, cheeses, tastings, food and fun. Encompassing everything from secluded estate vineyards to historic pub-style bistros, the Indiana Wine Trail brings together the region's best, each offering a different take on one of the state's fastest-growing agricultural products: handcrafted Indiana wine. TASTE OF SPRING, a brand new wine event, happens on April 21st from 11am-7pm near the gazebo on Madison's beautiful riverfront. $20 per person, includes wine tasting and a commemorative wine glass. Entertainment and cheese, too. ...and more WINE. Thomas Family Winery's, HOT LUCK and FIERY FOODS begins Friday night, April 13th with a gathering of spicy people with hot taste buds!! Admission to the event is a fiery covered dish and recipes to hand out! We have a hot and spicy experience waiting for our seasoned and newly sprouted chile-heads, said Steve Thomas, winery co-owner. We are making Saturday (April 14th) a bigger day by building on last year's success with the chile marketplace. Expanded activities include food demonstrations led by professional chile-heads, new categories in the salsa contest and a Hot Pepper Jelly Breakfast. On April 21st, Stream Cliff Farm Tearoom and Winery are offering a CANDLELIGHT DINNER. Reservations are required. Begins at 6pm on the Winery porch and moves to the Tearoom for a gourmet dinner made with the finest and freshest ingredients available. April 28th and 29th. Lanthier Winery's annual SPRING CELEBRATION , a weekend of workshops, wine tasting, plant giveaways, grand garden tours and beautiful spring blossoms.
