Hello Wonderful !
How are you today? Are you having/have you had a nice weekend?
I thought that I would send you a quick little mail to bring you two yummy gifts, while I sit here on my veranda enjoying a fruit salad and a cup of jasmine tea. This is my view...the lawn didn't like me being away for 4 weeks, as you can see!) ;)
I have a
full day of house renovations ahead of me, so I am enjoying this
yummy moment before I get stuck in.
I just wanted to remind
you that tomorrow (Monday 15th August) is the last day we are offering tickets to our High
Energy for Entrepreneurial Women workshop at the special price of
£95. A saving of £40! (gift of yumminess #1)
We have limited the spaces
on this workshop to about 20 so that we can be sure our participants
get the attention and quality they deserve. Five lovely women have
already booked their place, and it's very exciting to see that they
have all different types of businesses from coaching to supplying
natural horse feed. Some have been running their business for years,
one is just in the start-up phase. Some are completely new to yoga
and raw food. They are all different ages and all different shapes.
Some are coming on their own, some are bringing a friend. Two are
coming to London from the depth of the Welsh hills and making a
weekend of it and seeing a bit of the capital at the same time!
During my trip to the
UK I got to sample more of Rosanna's delicious yoga and some more of
Blanka's amazing food. We are all so excited and confident that you
are just going to love what we have in store for you.
So have a peek at this
page here, and if this sounds like the kind of thing you fancy, then
go for it! You deserve it. Your business deserves it (even if your
business is just in the seedling stage!).
I truly hope I get to
see you in November.
In the meantime, scroll down to find a scrummy, quick and easy recipe to boost your morning energy (yummy gift #2!) Have a great week!
Love and blueberries,
Johanna xx

Recipe
I have been eating this for breakfast a lot
this summer. It's a great start to the day and is packed with omega 3
thanks to the chia seeds. Chia seeds may seem expensive but since
they expand when soaked you don't actually use many of them per
serving.
Vanilla Chia
Breakfast Pudding
Serves 2
* 3 tablespoons chia
seeds (you can find them in some well stocked health food stores and
online like this store here)
* 1 cup (250 ml) water
* ½ cup (125 ml) mixed
nuts (eg brazil nuts, cashews, almonds, walnuts)
* 1/3 cup (80 ml)
sunflower seeds
* 2 large bananas
* Pinch of vanilla powder (ground
vanilla pods) or a few drops of vanilla extract
Before you go to
bed:
In a large bowl or jug,
soak the chia seeds in the 1 cup of water overnight
Soak the nuts
and sunflower seeds together in a bowl of water overnight
In the
morning:
Drain and rinse the nuts and sunflower seeds (not
the chia seeds!). Put everything into a large jug and blend together
with an extra 2 tablespoons of water with a hand blender, or you can
mix it all up in a blender. You may have to add a little extra water
if the mixture is too thick/your blender is not quite powerful
enough.
Top with fresh berries
or slices of mango or peach/nectarines. You can also add some extra
chopped nuts and a drizzle of maple/agave syrup for an extra yummy
topping.
