Hello Gorgeous!
How are you doing
today,?
I haven't been in touch
for a while, but I just wanted to send you a quick little mail to see
how you are doing. I also wanted to share my exciting news that I
have just re-located to London.
This move is part of my major
life makeover that I am currently undertaking. Part of the new 'me'
is my commitment to remove clutter from my life. I love
de-cluttering! It's so energizing and creates space for so many new ideas and opportunities. My recent move took de-cluttering
to the highest limit. A few days ago I lived in a 6 bedroom house. On
Wednesday all I had left was 40kg of possessions which fit into 3 suitcases. Liberating?
Amazingly!
I am
currently getting myself settled and looking at office space here, so
I will keep you updated on my progress. I will of course make plenty
of time for fun things like exploring all the great places to eat,
and of course the odd slice or two of raw cake with lovely
friends!
Talking of friends, did you catch the video interview
of me on my blog? My good friend Corrina Gordon-Barnes of You Inspire
Me interviewed me about the exhaustion that business owners, and
other busy professionals, suffer from. Check it out here >>
The
weekend before I left Sweden, I held a private workshop with a lovely
client of mine, who I am helping break her
addiction to refined sugar and gluten.
One of the dishes we
made and loved were gluten free crepes (recipe here >> ) served with raw chocolate sauce (you can find the recipe in my Ebook), passion fruit
and my yummy Raw Cherry Ice Dream. DELICIOUS!! I just have to share the recipe with
you because my client certainly loved it, and so do I! During summer, I even have this
for breakfast. Yum! Recently I have been sprinkling it with
the most amazing Raw Chocolate Granola from Gracefully Raw. Heaven!
Just Heaven!
In fact Blanka from
Gracefully Raw will be catering for the workshop I am holding on
November 27th in November in London, and our lovely guests will have
the opportunity to sample and buy her granola on the day. Would you
like to join us for an inspiring day of yoga, raw food, fantastic
networking opportunities, goal setting and more? Book your place HERE today! I am offering a 10% discount to my lovely readers, (Please use the discount code 'Energy10'). Plus
the first one to book their place with this code will get a free copy
of my e-book, 'Loving Life-Loving Desserts'!
So, here is the recipe (please scroll down),
dear friend. I really hope you enjoy it. It's super quick and easy to
make. Have a fantastic day!
Johanna xx

Recipe
Cheeky Cherry
Ice Dream
Serves 2
3
frozen bananas (peel and slice bananas, pop into a freezer bag or plastic box and freeze for at least 12 hours)
125
g frozen cherries (without stones)
Small
pinch of salt
½
teaspoon vanilla powder
or
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Allow
the bananas to stand at room temperature for 5-10 minutes to soften
slightly.
Blend
all the ingredients together in a food processor to make a soft and
smooth 'ice cream'. This may take a couple of minutes, and you
will need to stop it a couple of times to scrape down the sides. To make it extra cheeky, stir in some chopped cherries and/or some cacao nibs/dark chocolate chips. Serve immediately!
