Top 10 Book Marketing Tips
Be a Branding Superstar
Get out there!

1.Schedule "mini seminars" at bookstores, libraries, and other avenues that
are related to your niche. It is always a good idea to bring your own books
to make sure there are enough to sign that day, and to leave a couple
autographed copies for future sales.

2. Build a website or blogsite so that your readers can find information about you online. If you do not know how to build your own, contact Ministry Marketing Solutions Inc. to help you find an appropriate website person.

3. Build a contact list of every person or organization that you want to inform
about your book. Find a way to get a copy of your book or information into
their hands. There are many people who may need your book and would
buy it if they knew it existed.

4. Make a marketing plan for your book so that you know what you need to
do on a monthly basis. Write down your goals and think of the steps that
you need to take to reach them. Hire a PR Coach if you need help. (see below).

5. Send out press releases to your local media and to relevant sources. Write
a quality release that will help you get free publicity to promote your book.

6. Make sure that you have business cards & bookmarks to pass out when you are networking with people who could potentially buy your book or host a
speaking engagement for your book.

7. Host speaking engagements at local organizations to promote your book.
Think of ways to present the topic of your book to an audience. Video tape!

8. Mail postcards to people who may be interested in your book. You can
also keep in touch with people who have attended your speaking
engagements or who need more information about your book to purchase.

9. Create your own newsletter or ezine to send out on the topics of your book. Your readers would love to know where your upcoming speaking engagements,
mini-seminars and other events are going to be. This is also a great way to
educate your readers on your book.

10.  Write articles based on your book or use one of your chapters as a submission to contests and magazines to have your work published in other places to give your book more exposure. Brand and blog continually to GET OUT THERE! See www.brandingsuperstar.com for social networking tips too!
