THE NEEDLEWORK NUTSHELL
There's something new at
FUNK & WEBER DESIGNS
Hello, Nuts!
I've been promising (threatening?) change to the Nutshell
for . . . oh, probably a year or so. Well, guess what. Here
it is!
I will continue to create the content that you are
accustomed to receiving in these long monthly missives, but
I will post it on the Funk & Weber website in smaller, more
frequent increments, sending you alerts and links to the
articles and tutorials in this Nutshell. In other words, the
Needlework Nutshell will be just that: info "in a
nutshell." (Read: brief.)
This paragraph was where I explained my tentative plan for
rolling out content, but that went right out the
window--even before this letter was finished! I've deleted
the whole paragraph except for this last sentence: We'll
see how things really shake out in the end. Yes, I guess we
will.
In addition, you Nuts will be privvy to exclusive discount
codes, chances to participate in first-run classes and
special events, and you'll get dibs on limited-quantity
goods when we acquire or create them. You are, after all, my
go-to group, and you will remain so. My appreciation for
your inspiration and support will never change. Keep those
questions, ideas, and emails coming!
Many thanks to those of you who have honestly and delicately
informed me that you don't have time to read the full
Nutsletter. I understand, really I do. In truth, with the
changes we've made to the Funk & Weber Designs business and
website, this will work better for me, too. Besides, change
keeps us on our toes and encourages invention. I look
forward to this!

Some of you have seen this pattern, maybe even stitched it.
Now everyone will be able to find it because it's indexed
on the HOW TO page. Have you seen the HOW TO page? Have I
mentioned how much I love the new Funk & Weber website?
Off you go now. Seriously, that's it. There's more at that
link--click it. You'll be hearing from me again soon, I
promise. There's stuff I'm dyeing to show you later this
month.
Typo? No, that's not a typo.
I know this is weird. It's weird for me, too. Deal with it!
Smiles and stitches,
Jen
