NEW TUTORIAL AT

ACK! Well, the way I figure it, I'm batting .500 on the
shorter, more frequent Nutsletter communications front.
Shorter? Yes. (Yay, me.) More frequent? Um...no. (Boo, me.)
My excuse: It's summer.
This sort of happened last year, too, and I'm inclined to
just accept it. Though I no longer work in the tourism
industry (not formally, anyway), I continue to live a
seasonal life. I spend A LOT of time in the garden. It's
not just recreation: I'm growing and processing food to eat
throughout the winter. I LOVE doing this.
In addition, for the next couple of weeks, and again later
in the summer, we'll have visitors, so we'll be out and
about, enjoying the great scenery, wildlife, and adventures
that Alaska has to offer.
My time on the computer is greatly reduced. I am squeezing
in some stitching, though!
All that said, I did manage to post a long-awaited stitching
tutorial. It's a great technique for summer:
* It can generate tiny--read: easily portable--projects,
perfect for toting to the pool, ball diamond, or on
vacation.
* Natural light is helpful in executing this technique.
Check it out.

The only promise I'll make at this point is I'll see you
next time!
Smiles and stitches,
Jen
P.S. - Want to see what else has been occupying my time
lately? It has nothing to do with embroidery.

Something else entirely.
