What To Do When You've Done All You Know How to Do
(some excerpts from Future Now)

Have you ever been at a place in your life and you didn’t know what to do? You prayed and fasted, and it seemed like you hit a brick wall. Well, when you’ve done all you know to do, you need to know some more. You need more information (revelation) from the Word of God.

John 16:13 says, “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come”

The Holy Spirit lives in you and the Bible calls Him the teacher, and while you're reading the Word or just meditating on it, when you least expect it, the Holy Spirit will speak to you the answer you need.

John 14:26 says, "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you."

Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

How do we acknowledge God? By not leaning on our own understanding, or what we or somebody else thinks. We must stay in the Word of God.

John 8:31, 32 says, “If you continue in my Word, then you are my disciples indeed, 32 then you will know the truth and the truth will make you free."

The knowledge of God or knowing God comes from spending time in His Word, which is truth. Jesus said in John 17:17 “Thy Word is truth.“

God’s Word enlightens (brings revelation) to us. Psalm 119:130 says, “The entrance of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.”

Psalm 119:105 says, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”

God’s Words light (brings understanding) to the area around your feet, which represents where you are presently standing or your present situation. But it also lights (brings understanding) to your path for the future.

So the next time you hit a spiritual dead end and you’ve done all you know to do, get into the Word of God and begin to ask the Holy Spirit to show you the knowledge you need for a breakthrough!
