We just left Dallas, TX and are on the road home in our ministry truck. We
should be back in Albany, GA by midnight. Thank you for all your prayers and support of New Life Network. We had a wonderful conference with our Evolv family and many hearts were touched.
The Sunday morning service was a huge success! Sam Caster opened the service with a welcome to everybody. Lisa Mitts did
a fabulous job leading the worship and her husband David did a great teaching on giving. Cheryl and I taught on relationship versus religion and breaking all the chains that bind us (including religion). The Holy Spirit did the rest and at the end the altar was full and the angels of God were rejoicing, and so were we.
It still amazes me how God can change a life in a split second. Some people spend a lifetime searching for the magic answer. They read self-help books, how-to books, attend motivational seminars, get several college degrees, and yet, they are still lost and searching for the real meaning of life and trying to find out what they are here for.
Jesus said, “I am the way”. When we finally decide to lay down all our own intellectual pursuits and follow Him, it is then that He will show us what we are really here for.
We are
literally watching a company be transformed before our eyes. Evolv has the potential to become a major instrument of God to feed, nourish, and save the lives of orphans and poverty stricken children all over the world. They declared from stage this weekend that this company is founded on Christian principles. They are one of the few companies that I am aware of that allow a voluntary Christian service on Sundays after their conference. If they stay the course, and don’t move to the right or
left, God will bless them mightily.
