Right now, I have to return a call to a client.
He's making a million dollar mistake that I wanted to share with you.
It's about criteria or belief systems.
Here's the short form: people ALWAYS act in accord with their criteria.
Even stronger - people can't operate against their criteria without causing themselves intense pain.
Criteria is what gets people to take action - but always in accord with their beliefs.
You can address people on a low level of criteria but if you want to lead them around by their nose and have them following you faithfully, you need to have their criteria down pat.
Now here's the big mistake people make...
They use their criteria instead of their clients criteria.
And they think everyone agrees with their criteria.
I can't tell you how many times I see this.
I have a few clients who are making under a milllion and a bunch of clients who are making over a million. (One making over a hundred million a year.)
Guess which clients follow my advice.
Not the little guys. They think they are the experts.
The 50 and 100 million dollar clients - (and those on the way up) listen and do what I say when it comes to criteria.
The Chairman of a 100 million dollar corporation stood up at a meeting and said, "Take yourself out of the picture. This website isn't written for you. It's written for our market."
So don't make that huge mistake.
Take yourself out of the picture.
Peace.
