Clearpond is pleased to announce we will now be offering a 5 year guarantee on the Infiniti and Eternity range of pond pumps, we are also offering a 2 year guarantee on the impellor as well!
The Infiniti pump range is for water features where the size of the pump is important. These pumps are tiny in size but powerful in nature and range from 600 litres per hour right up to 5000 litres per hour and there is also 3 in the range that are low voltage as well!
The Eternity range of pond pumps are universally designed for water features, Sheer Descents and fountain displays. They come complete with a cage filter surround for reducing pump maintenance and can have a variety of pre-filters adapted to them. They range in size from 800 to 9000 litres per hour.

Clearpond will be releasing its all new warehouse range of "Pietro By Clearpond" water features, urns, planters and garden art at the Melbourne Reed Gift Fair which runs from the 6th to the 10th of August.
The Reed Gift Fair is the number one gift and homewares event, where the industry comes together to present new products and trends for the vital Christmas and summer period. Spread out over two venues the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre Southbank and the Melbourne Showgrounds Ascot Vale, this fair showcases thousands of products from over 800 suppliers. We have expanded the range of Pietro By Clearpond products that we will carry as stock items in our warehouses and we are sure you will be blown away by some of the new features we will be stocking. Please drop by and say hello and take a peak at our new features!
 



Aquagarden Foam Pre-Filters!
 
Aquagarden foam pre-filters are the perfect product to reduce the frequency of cleaning and increase both the mechanical and biological cleaning of your pond.
The Aquagarden foam pre-filters are black rather than blue so they can camouflage into the pond and are far less visual than blue foam pre-filters.
Installing a larger foam pre-filter on your pump increases the life of your pond equipment as it takes longer to block up so the pump does not have strain to suck the water through a tiny pre-filter that blocks every few days.
The best indication of when it is time to clean the foam is when the flow rate of your pump reduces, just remember not to use tap water!
The best way to clean any filter material is to use clean buckets free of herbicides and pesticides, scoop out some pond water and clean the sponges in that and then use the dirty water as fertiliser for your garden!

  • As part of our 2011/2012 "Pietro by Clearpond" product launch we are also pleased to now offer with the Versaille Three Tier and Versaille Two Tier Fountains a protective rubber ring.  The ring sits underneath the bottom and middle bowls of the three tier and under the bottom bowl of the two tier so that they can be moved without damaging or scraping the feature. The ring cannot be seen when seated so all you have to do is level the feature, fill with water and away you go!

Winter Tips! 
Due to the large amounts of rain we are experiencing Australia wide you will need to keep an eye on the amount of water in your pond, fish can over flow as the water level rises in your pond so it is a good idea to empty some of the water from your pond to prevent this happening. For those about to install a pond it is worthwhile installing an overflow pipe into the side of the pond to prevent this happening, just remember that fish can go out the pipe as well but a cage or mesh will prevent this!
Although it is very cold outside and we like to stay indoors where it is warm it is still a good idea to check your pond equipment and make sure it is still working as it should.
Also while you are out there have a good look at your fish as in winter your fish can be more prone to bacterial infections and parasitic attacks.
