NEW PRODUCT -  OZSTREAM WATER COURSE

Providing a new dimension to your pond is now easy by adding the OZstream Water Course. The OZstream pre-fabricated water course is used to create a stream or waterfall quickly and simply.

As the streams can be easily connected, longer streams can be made to create a pleasant water effect.  Each OZstream measures 1220 x 625 x 225mm and has a maximum flow rate of up to 3000 litres per hour.  It also comes with a 30 year guarantee.

NEW PRODUCT - CLEARPOND URBAN OUTDOOR DECK AND PATIO POND "THE MANHATTAN"


The Manhattan pond is the new addition to the Clearpond pond range that is ideal to install on a balcony or patio to add the soothing effect of a waterfall, fountain or water lilly pond.


Being free standing it is easy to install and when empty it is light enough to be moved easily from spot to spot. Being unlike any pond on the market with its contemporary shape and design it is sure to fit into a variety of apartments and town houses. It is available now and comes with a 10 year guarantee.

NEW PRODUCT - GRIP CLIP 3

Grip Clip is used to adhere liner easily and safely to brick, limestone and timber walls  that surround the pond.

The female Grip Clip piece is bolted to the wall and the pond liner edge is simply "clipped" into place using the male section of the Grip Clip allowing for a perfectly professional finish to the pond.

Available in a 3 metre length or by the lineal metre it is easy to install and suits all of Clearpond's liners from 0.5mm thick PVC liner to our 1.14mm thick Proliner.

NEW QUEENSLAND AND NORTHERN TERRITORY ACCOUNT MANAGER

After an extensive search Clearpond is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Stephen Watkins as our new Queensland and Northern Territory account manager.
Steve comes to Clearpond with a wealth of knowledge of the aquarium and pond industry in both the retail and wholesale fields.
Having grown up at his parent's aquarium/pond store and fish hatchery he learnt from a very young age the design, set-up and maintenance of aquariums and ponds in a domestic as well as an industrial aquaculture scale.
With a combination of his extensive knowledge and passion of our industry Steve will be a valuable asset to compliment Clearpond's position as the industry experts.

SUMMER TIPS

As summer continues now is the best time to see if problems are likely to occur as fish breed and increase in size and number, you may need to know; are there too many fish in my pond? Is my filtration coping with the increased bioload?

Reducing the number of fish is as easy as giving them away to friends and family but fixing the other issue may take a little more effort but not too much!

Clearpond sells many products to boost filtration capacity such as Clearpond Bacteria which is available in 10gm, 50gm, 250gm and 1 kg containers.

This product is easy to use; just get a clean jar and scoop up some pond water (do not use tap water), place the required amount of bacteria in the jar and shake for 1 minute, let the jar sit out of the sun for 10 minutes then sprinkle over the surface of the pond and into the filter.

Also available is Clearpond Biostarter which comes pre-mixed, just add the required amount as per above and it's as easy as that!

 CLEARPOND FISH FOOD

Whether you keep goldfish or koi, feeding fish is not only important to "give them something to eat" but feeding your fish a high quality food is essential for their growth, colour, immunity and well being. Feeding a quality fish food also helps in improving and maintaining water quality.

Clearpond provides our customers with 4 types of fish food perfect for goldfish, koi and fish used in aquaponics such as barramundi, perch and trout.

Grower Professional Pond Stix is a 4mm diameter food which comes in a 5kg bag containing 23% protein as well as vitamin A, D3, E and C. It is an optimally balanced feed and as it floats it is easy to see how much food is being eaten to avoid over feeding.

Grower Professional Gro-Mix also comes in a 5kg bag and is a 3mm floating food. It is enriched with spirulina algae for health and well being and paprika for enhancing natural colours. Slightly higher in protein at 33% it also contains vitamin A, D3, E and C.

Clearpond's "Hi Pro" food is available in a 20kg crumble with 50% protein and in a 25kg 4mm pellet containing 45% protein. It is ideal for aquaponics as well as a supplementary food for standard pond fish.
