SILVER TRIUMPH FOR CLEARPOND AT MIFGS!!!

Clearpond was delighted to be awarded the silver medal in the Outdoor Display category at the 2011 Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show (MIFGS)!

With many different and interesting landscape designs at the show Clearpond's display was a stunning mix of Oase Water Entertainment and Pietro By Clearpond water features and sculptures.

Having taken many months of planning and with only days to set up such as massive display Clearpond was delighted to be awarded the silver medal.

Thank you to everyone who attended and we are going for gold next year!

AUTUMN TIPS

As it gets cooler the fish in your pond metabolism begins to slow, this means that fish may become easier targets for predators such as birds. Netting can easily be installed over the pond however this can be visually unappealing and unattractive, the Aquagarden Pongard is a far better option!

Using a jet of water to scare off animals and birds it is not only effective but does not harm the pesky predators of our pond fish!
The motion sensor in the Pongard protects an area up to 30 square metres and can shoot a jet of water up to 10 metres long making it a very effective and humane pest deterrent. Running off batteries and the garden hose it only comes on when movement is detected and produces a audible clicking sound to further dissuade pests.

The Intelligent Pond Manager!

The Filtomatic CWS is a genuine multi-talent; it automatically monitors virtually all sources of stress that pose a hazard for the pond: excess nutrients, sludge and suspended algae - resulting in biologically clear water 365 days a year.
A unique programmable sludge discharge system can be set to operate up to 8 times per day to reliably dump waste and sludge from the filter.
This is the first flow-through style filter that can be almost completely buried providing higher efficiency filtration in a compact, well concealed, high performance unit.
Three different filter sizes are available that are easy to maintain, are user friendly and are easy to install and due to a clocked UVC power savings of up to 40% can be achieved. The three sizes of Oase Filtomatics can filter ponds with fish up to 3000, 6000 and 12,000 litres respectively.

The Flexy Jet 6 is a new floating fountain that comes with 6 foaming jet nozzles and pre-programmed software which allows immediate operation of this impressive display.
Each jet can shoot up to 170 centimetres in height to create a stunning visual display as well as provide aeration to the pond or lake.
A lighting set can be added as an accessory to turn the Flexy Jet into a brilliant night time feature as well!
It is simple to install with one electrical cable for the Flexy Jet and one electrical cable for the light set, it also comes with 2 x 20 metre steel cables, hooks and anchors for easy positioning in the water body.
