Couple of Cold Mornings On The Way

Canadian high pressure will be in control through the next seven days with dry conditions expected.  While tranquil, the cold temperatures on the way for the next several mornings will support freezing conditions throughout the northern Mid Atlantic.


Clear skies can be expected through Monday with Canadian high pressure in place.  Winds will be from the northwest at 10 to 20 mph through this afternoon, decreasing to around 5 mph tonight on through Monday.  Temperatures will rise into the mid 50’s for highs this afternoon.  Temperatures tomorrow morning will fall into the upper 20’s to lower 30’s over the interior and suburbs and mid to upper 30’s in urban areas for lows.  High temperature tomorrow will range from the upper 40’s to lower 50’s.  Temperatures on Monday will range from the upper 20’s to lower 30’s over the interior and suburbs and mid 30’s in urban areas for lows and lower to mid 50’s for highs.


High pressure will shift off the coast Tuesday through Thursday with clear skies to scattered cloud cover.  Winds will back to the southwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures on Tuesday will range from the lower to mid 40’s for lows mid 60’s for highs.  Temperatures on Wednesday will range from the lower 50’s for lows and mid to upper 60’s for highs.  Temperatures on Thursday will range from the mid 50’s for lows and upper 60’s to lower 70’s for highs.


A cold front will follow on Friday with isolated showers in the morning.  Temperatures will range from the mid 50’s for lows and upper 60’s to lower 70’s for highs.
