“I will be a Father to you,
And you shall be My sons and daughters,
Says the Lord Almighty.”
The above verse can cause warm feelings in some people, and cause others to shutter; depending on the experiences that they had with their own fathers. Some had close, loving ties with their dads, while others had relationships that could be best described as "rocky."
God is bigger than all of that. God will be what a father should be to us, no matter what our fatherly frame of reference is in this life. He will be everything that we need, all that our hearts could desire to have in a Father.
