They say that "Content is King".. and that "Money is in the list"..
You've heard it before, especially if you frequent Internet
Marketing and online business forums, blogs and communities.

So, if that's true, then how exactly is it that you are supposed to
combine the two together, and take advantage of these "list
building' cash cows?

To begin, let's just clear one thing out of the way.. the SIZE of
the list doesn't mean squat.. In fact, from my many years of
experience in list building and email marketing, some of my smaller
lists have produced better results that other ones TEN times their
size!

You see, the one thing that new list builders do wrong, is instead
of focusing on the quality of their lists, they focus on the
QUANTITY..

Bad, Bad Move..

When it comes to list building, you want a prime and focused list
of ACTIVE subscribers and buyers. After all, what's the sense in
sending out an email advertisement for one of your products or
perhaps an affiliate product that you are promoting, if your list
simply deletes your mail without taking action?

Still, sadly enough, many new list builders (and shockingly, even
some of the seasoned ones) continue to brag about their list sizes
when it really doesn't say much about what they actually earn.
