Come to Paia on the 4th Friday of every month! This old Plantation town is coming to life with the new most talked about event on Maui. Merchants will be celebrating with special events, music, art demonstrations, and much more. On Friday, Sept 23rd from 6 to 9pm, Turnbull Fine Art will be featuring artist, Lori Koprowski. She will be showing her latest collection of her "Femme Series".

Lori's experience living in the South Pacific and Australia have greatly influenced her rich and contemporary style you see today. The warmth of the islands add to her vibrant palette, yet the black and white helps to clear her mind while painting.
"Living in Fiji, I raced outrigger canoes and I would sketch my Polynesian and Tahitian teammates and started exaggerating their form," says Koprowski. "The long flowing hair, iconic pointy breast and expressive lips all became the style in my 'Femme Series'."

We are pleased to announce the addition of Impressionistic Artist Anna Good to the Turnbull Fine Art family.
Anna arrived on Maui in 1979 and soon made her mark as a scrimshaw artist. Now, over 20 years later, she has embraced the fine art of impressionism, and is a recognized palette artist. She travels the world to draw inspiration from scenic landscapes, floral gardens, and koi ponds. During these travels, Anna has been inspired by Monet's garden in Paris, Butchart gardens in British Columbia, Filoi gardens in California and, most recently, the gardens of Frederick Chopin's birthplace in Warsaw. Anna has been featured in publications such as Hawaiian Style and Koi USA magazines, and the Art of Scrimshaw I and II. Her work is in gallery collections nationwide as well as in the private collections of Tippy Hedren and Siegfried & Roy. Anna's one- woman shows have taken place in Maui, Kauai, Las Vegas, and Japan.
When viewing her work, we are not only struck by Anna's detailed work with the palette knife, but also the depth of color and imagination that draw us into her paintings. Her pathways lead us into secret hideaways, while her lively florals make us feel like we've taken in the scent of a freshly picked bouquet. We look forward to sharing this collection with you. Art is for the Heart Tour
Gallery Tour & Luncheon
Turnbull Fine Art is excited to share an art and food experience combining a fabulous art tour topped off with lunch at Charley's restaurant. The Art is for the Heart Gallery Tour and Luncheon starts at Turnbull Fine Art with a fun and comprehensive tour of the gallery. You'll learn about the different types of artwork we feature from Impression to Pointillism to Abstract. Each artists' special technique and style will be revealed to you! Then, after this informative tour, we'll stroll across the street to Charley's for a pre-mix menu luncheon. The cost of the tour, lunch, and beverage is $25.00, and will be credited back with any gallery purchase over $250.00.
Under new management, Charley's is debuting a new menu with exciting dishes by Chicago born chef, Aaron May. Chef Aaron is featured regularly on the Food Network and owns several restaurants in New York and Paris. His palette-friendly dishes will continue to reflect Charley's original North Shore cuisine, such as hearty burgers, fresh salads and seafood, but with a new delectable twist.
What better way to spend part of your time on Maui. Food and Art..all for the heart! We will begin our tour at the end of September, days and times to follow!
