Chocolate & Champagne with
Ed Lane
Thursday, January 26th from 6 to 8pm
Maui artist Ed Lane will be at Turnbull Fine Art in Paia this Thursday to celebrate the new year with his fresh "off the easel" paintings.
Ed Lane's color palette is full of life. "An inner fire illuminates his mountains, flickers his leaves, smolders his deepest shadows. It's as if Lane sees not just the surfaces and contours of things, but their interior life as well," says On Maui Magazine.
Don't miss this exclusive event where you can personally ask all your "art-felt" questions to the expert in "fauvism".
After a successful 36 year career in the advertising industry, Lane moved to Maui in 1994 to become a full-time artist. He paints in his Wailea studio or on location around the Hawaiian Islands.
We look forward to seeing you at our festive evening!
Kona Cabin 36" x 36" $6500.00

February Calender
Welcome father and son artists, Semyon and Daniel Bilmes on Saturday evening, February 11th from 6 to 9pm at Turnbull Fine Art.
We are proud to represent the exquisite style of both father and son. Semyon, originally from the Soviet Union, immigrated to New York in 1980 where he studied and graduated from the Parsons School of Design. After a very successful career in advertising and illustration, he founded a classical art school in Ashland, Oregon where he taught to aspiring artists. His son, Daniel Bilmes was greatly influenced by his father and started teaching art instruction at the age of 15 at the school.
Daniel's father has been quoted, "My son is like a re-incarnation of an old Master. Sometimes I think I am looking at the work of Leonardo Da Vinci."
Isa 18" x 24" $7200 by Daniel Bilmes
The Bilmes family moved here in 2010 to establish their classical art school, "Atlier Maui".
