One Year and Counting
Happy April Fool's Day! I hope you've enjoyed a few laughs on this day of pranks and practical jokes. By the way, check out some of Google's clever April Fool's Day hoaxes, such as "Google Translate for Animals".
Today Executive Insight Tip of the Week celebrates its one year anniversary (and that's no joke!). I'm thankful that you're a loyal reader, and I'm delighted to write for you every week.
I especially enjoy the notes that I receive from many of you. It always means a lot to me to know that I've struck a familiar chord or given you something to ponder.
A few people have expressed surprise that I write weekly, thinking that this seems like a big commitment. I appreciate the concern, but trust me: it's not too much.
What I've discovered is that there's a rhythm to writing EI, and happily, that regularity is something that I look forward to every week. My friends now recognize the look on my face when I hear an anecdote or experience something that has potential for a future column.
I hope that you have an anchor like this in your life: a routine project that enriches your perspective and provides insights to others. If you don't, I encourage you to find your equivalent to EI, and make the commitment to make it successful.
And by the way, I'm sure you have friends or colleagues who would also enjoy reading EI, so please feel free to forward this issue or send them directly to our sign up link at http://www.pharosalliance.com/resources/ezine.
As we begin our second year of publication, I want to thank you for being a loyal subscriber, and look forward to being together in the months ahead. And, of course, I'd love to hear from you!
Have a great week!
