Ever try discussing God with a room full of atheists? I am co-founder of the Atheist Christian Book Club and last Friday our club discussed the Christian book, Is God Just a Human Invention?, by Sean McDowell (son of Josh McDowell). Sean is a friend and he joined us via video to answer questions about his book with room full of atheists. Do you want to watch?

- Question 1: The "silence" of the Apostle Paul is problematic. Why did Paul make virtually no references to Christ's parables, His birth narrative, His miracles, or His teachings?
- Question 2: The "Outsider Test of Faith" is the "silver bullet" against Christianity. Why is it in most cases, a person's faith is determined by two things -- where they live and what religion their family happens to be?
8 Christians + 9 atheists = ???
It is quite an experience to be in a room full of atheists being peppered with difficult questions. What I enjoy about the club is that while the atheists ask us tough questions they are never mean-spirited. They always seem to be listening thoughtfully when we ask them tough questions as well. While the discussion is intense it is never disrespectful or condescending. So Friday, we had eight Christians PLUS nine atheists EQUAL zero arguing. Maybe on some level that is one more proof that there is a God.
