Dear ,
My first book is out! It's 'A Short Guide to Facilitating Risk Management', co-authored with Ruth Murray-Webster. The book is all about engaging people to identify, own and manage risk.
It's written for project managers, business analysts and others who need to make risk management work in their organisations, in fact for you and other readers of these briefings.
It's already got 4 1/2 stars on Amazon and it is the Arras People book of the month. You can buy it here and read the reviews here.
You're invited to join us for the launch...
We're launching the book next week with a virtual risk summit. We have short sessions each day with great speakers about how you can make risk work in your organisation.
The whole idea is that it is virtual, so you don't need to travel to join in and hear some fantastic speakers, from David Hillson to Ruth and me, from some real life risk facilitators to our Gower publisher (he'd like to hear your new book ideas too!)
Of course, it's fr*e*e to register and listen in online.
Please do join us for as much as you can. Register here to join in.
Facilitating Risk Management:
All the best for July and for a good break from work for you and yours,
Penny
PS I'm working with a group from Oman, Qatar, Dubai and Abu Dhabi this week on Business Process Change projects. We're in Dubai. Last night I went into the desert for the first time and even had a ride on a camel. I thought you might be amused to see!

I aim to to give you proven ideas and tools to try out on your projects, all in under four minutes reading time. Please forward it to people who would find this useful. If you ever want to unsubscribe, then just click the link at the end of this briefing.
Would these tips help your colleagues? If so, please let them know about them! They can join by signing up here. They'll receive my bonus report as well: "12 1/2 ways to make your meetings work for you". I keep hearing how this has helped people make their meetings and workshops more effective (and usually a bit shorter too!)
