the Argentine Revival meetings were phenomenal!

Hello ,
Imagine hundreds of people on a Tuesday night lining up in the
pouring rain four hours before the start of a service. Imagine the
sanctuary that seats 2,500 is packed to capacity, the overflow room
is completely full and 500 people have been relocated several
blocks away to an auditorium to watch via closed circuit. That is
precisely what happened last week during the campaign we held at
King of Kings church in Argentina.
The first four services were held at Centro Familiar Cristiano
pastored by Don and Melba Exley. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday
nights, it was standing room only. Each night, forty percent of the
church came forward for healing, salvation, or some sort of
miracle. What stood out the most was the overwhelming percentage of
people who brought photographs of their loved ones in the hospital
or who brought articles of clothing so that we could pray for them
by placing our hands on the clothes. By far, the greatest need
represented was prayer for physical healing. Each night, we prayed
for hundreds of people.
One woman grabbed me by the hand and said, "I was walking down the
street, and I read the sign on the outside of this building that
reads, 'Come and experience freedom!' So I came in, because I have
been living in torment and pain. You see, my husband is manic
depressive. Our house is such a lonely place filled with pain.
About six months ago, I started having an affair with another man
whose wife is much like my husband. I really want to be free. I
want to stop the craziness. So when I read the sign, I knew that I
should come in to experience the power of God to set me free." We
prayed together, and she accepted Christ as her LORD and Savior.
Then I introduced her to Melba who will oversee the woman's
followup.
As Don, Melba and I were driving out of the church parking lot, we
were talking about the woman and the sign she read. That's when
Melba said, "There's only one discrepancy with the woman's story."
What's that?" I asked. She said, "The sign doesn't say "Come and
experience freedom!" It simply says, 'Campaign with Evangelist
Jason Frenn.'
The last two nights of the series of meetings were held at King of
Kings pastored by Claudio Freidzon. It was the first time I had
ever seen ushers holding the crowds back to prevent too many people
from coming to the altar. When I asked how many wanted to commit
their lives to Christ for the VERY FIRST TIME (I must have said
"for the first time" ten times) over 500 people raised their hands.
An ambulance brought three small children (and their mothers) from
the hospital so that we could pray for their terminal illness.
Finally, when I asked how many people would like to testify in
regard to the healing they had received, people lined up along the
side wall from the platform to the back of the church.
Indeed, it was a fruitful series of campaign meetings. Indeed, God
is revolutionizing the country of Argentina and using these great
churches to do His will. I cannot recall ever seeing such hunger
and desperation for God as I have this past week.
Please pray with us. We have another important crusade coming up in
the Coachella Valley on May 8th. We are expecting about 5,000 to
6,000 people. Aside from a minimum need of $5,000 for this
outreach, please pray that God would pour out His power and love
upon those who need the salvation that is found only in the name of
Jesus!
Thank you for your prayers, support, and friendship.
May the Lord continue to bless you richly!
Your friend,
Jason
