Hi ,
Welcome to the
July Put Old on Hold Newsletter!
Click to open but first, here are some highlights:
The Know-It-All Sisters, Mary Lloyd and Barbara Morris solve problems for boomers and beyond. To kick things off they are advising how to cope with fear. If you are a know-it-all and would like to spout off on an issue, let's hear it. If you have a problem you need solved, the Know-It-All Sisters are the ticket!
Carroll Wolverton shares how she copes with the crumbling economy. What are you doing that can help others?
Financial expert Henry Montag explains why you may need a SPIA. Henry is a treasure trove of financial advice given in terms you and I can understand and use.
Lura Zerick went to Italy by herself which had some friends tsk-tsking about the wisdom of an 82 year old woman traveling alone around the world. It makes my blood boil when someone says in amazement, "You are doing THAT by yourself?" Advanced chronological age is NOT automatically synonymous with senility!
Joyce Shafer has a new book you will want to check out. I look forward to Joyce's article every month. She is a font of wisdom, not to mention a lot less expensive than visiting a shrink! To me she is Dr. Joyce.
Patricia Weaver is filming a documentary about the Children of the Greatest Generation. If you are one of those children and would like to participate, contact Pat.
Here is the link for her project page.
Barbara Pachter comments on the disappearance of pantyhose in the workplace. What do you think about this trend?
Thanks for being here. If you have questions or comments I'm always happy to hear from you.
Enjoy your Independence Day holiday as you reflect on and appreciate what it really means.
See you next month,
Barbara Morris
