"The Gift of the season "
The holiday season is here! Festivities, glee, decorations,
cooking, gifts.....
Wow so much effort goes into making the perfect
Holiday! The effort I put into something or for someone
could have me feel I might deserve a reward or maybe something back for my efforts.
 
Do I do, simply to do? Do I expect a return on what I have given?  Do I have an
expectation on what someone must do based on what I did? Why did I do it in the
first place?
 
Reflecting on these key questions I than ask myself am I responsible for making sure
everyone has a good holiday or am I responsible for me?
 
Maybe the effort should go into aligning myself to being joyful, festive and decorated
full of glee. Isn't that truly the gift I can give myself that I actually give to someone
else through my attitude?
So as I wrap another present, bake cookies whatever the task I schedule, may I put
myself on my list remembering to simply be the gift that I truly am.
Unwrapped or wrapped up as I celebrate the holiday I am the gift of the season all
the seasons of my life! 
 
I look forward to seeing you on Wed.,  Dec. 7th at the Journey Group (see below).
