[SWW Wendy Moore] We've had a Makeover - let us know your thoughts... Plus How to use QR Codes in business. Sent Monday, November 7, 2011
Wendy's Week
November 2011
One of the wonderful things about the world wide web and social media is the ability to make friends and forge business alliances online before you've even met someone face to face.

It was my pleasure to finally meet in person the lovely Sue Murphy from Red Hot Events & Seminars.  I was up in her neck of the woods and we managed to get together for a coffee and a chat.

How are YOU leveraging Social Media in your Business?

My question for you then is this:  are you leveraging opportunities for your business right now using social media?

Even the doubters who were waiting for the "fad" of social media to pass will have to admit, social media is here to stay and it's changeing the very foundations on how we do business.  Daily.

We've all heard the term "game face". Now it's time to put on your "social face". Are you ready for the change? If you're struggling, feel free to give me a call.  I'd love to help you.

Speaking of a new "social face", we've given our newsletter a facelift!  Drop us a line - we'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback.
With warm regards,
Wendy Moore

Feature Article

What are QR Codes and How Do You Use them in Business?

You've probably seen QR codes around.

QR Codes (or Quick Response codes) are two-dimensional codes that feature black modules on a white background and are arranged in a square pattern. So how can they raise the profile of your business?

Question 1

What has been your biggest challenge in business and how did you overcome it?

For me so far, the biggest step has been to take the leap of faith and commit to making my business work.

I have dabbled in various businesses previously, but this time I have been working hard to plan each step along the way and get the right advice.

Question 2

If you had to start your business again from scratch, what would you do differently?

It has been a journey and continues to be a learnign journey, but probably I would not have changed anything as I have learnt such a lot along the way.

Question 3

Who do you admire and why?

Recently, I heard Peter Alexander and Alla Wolf Tasker speak, and admired, and was inspired by their determination and perserverance.

Question 4

If takes a lot of determination and dedication to succeed in business.  What keeps you motivated?

The desire to create, interact with a range of people and do something that supports and assists many people.

Question 5

What are your 3 biggest success tips?

Susan Jeffers wrote..."Feel the fear and do it anyway"....each day I learn something about myself and others ...its fantastic!
  1. Be true to myself...what you see is what your get.
  2. Don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it.
  3. Be positive and optimistic, everything happens for a reason.
