Question 1
What
has been your biggest challenge in business and how did you overcome it?
'Time' has been my biggest challenge; running a business and having a
family is
a consistent balancing act.
When I'm being resourceful with my time - I'm
clear
on my priorities, have a clear vision of my outcome and I focus only on
what I am
going to achieve. The best thing about this is; the better I get at it,
the more tips,
strategies and systems I can share with the Mums I'm working with - and
that
helps them move forward even faster.
Question 2
If you had to start your business again from
scratch, what would you do differently?
Outsource earlier and more often!
Question 3
Who do you admire and why?
I admire Wangari Maathai, she is a very
courageous and determined woman
that that shows every day how a small things such as 'planting trees'
can change
the world. She won a Noble Peace prize for creating the Green Belt
Movement
in Kenya which restores indigenous forests across Africa whilst
assisting rural
women to be self sufficient. She is a truly inspirational woman.
Question 4
If takes a lot of determination and dedication to
succeed in business. What keeps you motivated?
I am very clear on my 'why' for having a
business. My 'why' at the moment is
Desert Elephants in Namibia- I'm taking my family there next year on
holidays.
And that keeps me jumping out of bed each morning. There has to be a
great 'why'! And if I need a little more help I use NLP techniques to
move into 'motivated
mode' even faster.
Question 5
What are your 3 biggest success tips?
- Take time for yourself each week.
- Take time for your relationship each week.
- Take time to be clear on where you are going,
when and why
and enjoy the crazy ride.
