Need help with your Systems?
Want to know what we use?
It's one of the things I know busy business people struggle with but it's also one of the most important - which systems you leverage to help you in business.
So I thought I'd share with you some of the systems we use at Savvy Web Women that you also may find beneficial.
AWeber is one of the most popular email management systems out there. Use it and you'll know why - it's easy and it works. Our newsletter template is done in AWeber.
AWeber has a
trial for $1 so you can get a feel for it and use to see if it meets your requirements before you fully commit, so that's super handy.
1ShoppingCart.com is the system we use for accepting payments online via our website and also for managing our affiliate program. If you're ready to upgrade from using Paypal, this is the system to consider.
Client Management -we use a little system call
ClientSpot:
ClientSpot may not have all the bells and whistles of some of the big systems out there, but it's a great little workhorse that let's you track the workflow and status of clients easily, irrespective of geographical location. Works fine for us.
Give each of the above a whirl and see if it meets your needs for your business.

How to Block a Person on Facebook
Much as we'd like to think otherwise, not
everybody using Facebook has the best intentions. Sometimes no matter
how careful and professional you are with establishing your connections
and networking on Facebook, there are some people whom you may wish to
no longer connect to.
If someone on Facebook is causing you issues,
you can block them.

Question 1
What
has been your biggest challenge in business and how did you overcome it?
Walking into an event full of people that I
don't know is challenging for me. I
wouldn't say that I have overcome it, but I get past the challenge by
recognizing
it is a necessary part of being a business owner.
I do, however, seek out small
group networking opportunities when I can, as these work better for me.
Question 2
If you had to start your business again from
scratch, what would you do differently?
I launched my business at a very quiet time of
the year (project wise). If I was
doing it again I would start in the middle of the year when there is a
lot more
activity.
Question 3
Who do you admire and why?
I love a tale of an entrepreneur who has made it
big after starting from scratch.
I heard Naomi Simson (founder of Red Balloon) the other week and admire
her
attitude and the culture that she created in her organisation as well
as her ability
to step down when the day came.
Question 4
If takes a lot of determination and dedication to
succeed in business. What keeps you motivated?
My husband helps me to keep on track. I stay
motivated by keeping my big
vision or goal clear in my mind and by taking the time to acknowledge
or
celebrate all my successes (even the small ones).
Question 5
What are your 3 biggest success tips?
- Celebrate all your achievements, no matter how
small because every
setback is a little easier to handle when you can remember all the
successes.
- Create goals that are measurable and tell
someone so that you are
accountable.
- Challenge yourself and try something new.
