"Professional Social Media Branding"

"When Wendy and the Savvy Web team began working on my social media sites, I knew there was lots of room for improvement. I had originally set up my twitter account, facebook page, linked in and you tube page, but the problem was, the branding looked terrible and there were certain features in each of the social sites that I knew I either wasn't using or I hadn't set up properly.

With Wendy's help, my branding become aligned across all the sites, all the links worked properly on all my social media sites and my Facebook Fanpage was so much more professional looking thanks to some great ideas that Wendy implemented. Overall, my social media sites are now in alignment with my website branding and they have gone from amateur looking to professional looking. Thanks Wendy!"

Five Minutes with...

Rosalie FurnessRosalie Furness of The Manufacturing Mentor

Question 1

What has been your biggest challenge in business and how did you overcome it?

Challenges come by many names, but when I boil them down to the reason they occur I always get the same answer - my state of mind. So my biggest challenge has been to improve my awareness of my state of mind to help us achieve our goals by breaking down walls and barriers that have built up over the years that inhibit my growth, development and progress. I have found mentors and teachers that use the tools that I want to utilize, and that I also trust and respect. Managing state of mind is always a work in progress.

Question 2
If you had to start your business again from scratch, what would you do differently?

Market and sell more intensely to our niche market. As a mentor of mine has always said, 'the Riches are in the Niches'.

Question 3

Who do you admire and why?
That would have to be my husband Jason.
His drive and 'can do' attitude is infectious and his support unwavering. He is a rock and my biggest fan.

Question 4

It takes a lot of determination and dedication to succeed in business. What keeps you motivated?

I love our business, what keeps me motivated is having clarity as to WHY? When it boils down, my No1 'Why' is my family, the business provides a resource that allows us more freedom of choice and time to do the things we want to do, when we want. I We have a family trip to Europe booked for later this year - without the business this wouldn't have been possible.

Question 5

What are your 3 biggest success tips?
  1. Be Clear on the purpose of your business - how does it help you achieve your "WHY"
  2. Ensure you have the right mindset - there is always a mountain load to learn about yourself and how your mindset affects you in business and everyday life. It helps mould who you are and who you want to be.
  3. Sell, Sell, Sell - don't be shy, get yourself out there - this is what keeps your business profitable.
