Wendy's Week

Wendy Moore I hope everyone had a enjoyable Easter. I was very spoiled and received a very special Easter treat (that I am still savouring).

As mentioned in a special announcement last week, I made a decision to increase prices due to a number of factors. If you missed the email, you can read why here.

A big thank you to those that welcomed this decision and sent messages of support. It means so much to me. It was time.

Until next week, happy surfing!

How to Remove Unwanted Post by a Facebook Application

Facebook provides users with many applications that can help them in connecting with people online. These include the applications beneficial to businesses in promoting their companies and offerings on this popular social media platform along with games regular users can play during for a bit of fun.

Unfortunately, many of these game applications are just plain annoying for business owners wanting to establish a professional image on their Facebook pages. Read more here...

Question 1

What has been your biggest challenge in business and how did you overcome it?

Having the confidence to value and cost my services accordingly, which I overcame by simply learning to trust and believe in myself.

Question 2
If you had to start your business again from scratch, what would you do differently?

I would narrow the services that I offered. As a copywriter, I believed it was best to "give everything a go", but I wouldn't do that if I was starting over. I would focus on what I was best at, but when I started off my writing business, I thought I had to take every bit of work that came my way.

Question 3

Who do you admire and why?
Many years ago, when I was a young copywriter working in radio,
I saw a much older woman with gray hair in a ponytail, dressed in a red suit. She was carrying a briefcase, and smiling as she walked down the street. I have never forgotten her style, grace and confidence.

I admire women like her, who dare to be different, who walk their talk, are courageous, spontaneous and natural.

Question 4

It takes a lot of determination and dedication to succeed in business. What keeps you motivated?

Me. I And the support and encouragement I get from my partner and those around me who I am closest to.

Question 5

What are your 3 biggest success tips?
  1. Be passionate about what you do.
  2. Believe in and be true to yourself.
  3. Have respect - for yourself and others.
