How
to Submit to Articles Directories
Marketing online and providing
great content is a great way to attract more readers
to
your website
andkeep them coming
back on a
regular basis. One of the most effective methods of online
marketing is through article submission.
Writing
articles with useful
information is a great way of spreading the word to your prospective
clients about what you do or what products and services you offer.
However, just publishing articles on your own
website is not
enough.
Not all web users will easily find your website so you need to promote
your articles through other means such as by submitting to directories.
Numerous people,
whether authors, writers or people involved in business are
submitting their articles today to
various online directories. A major reason why article directories are
widely used in marketing
is the fact that many are absolutely f.ree to web users. Most offer
f.ree services due to the great
demand in article marketing on the internet. Unlike an
advertising campaign that can be quite costly, f.ree article submission
sites are a great way to spread the word on a budget.
There are
also directories catering to specific target readers
that charge a
minimal subscription fee. These types of directories normally guarantee
the publication
of articles within 24 hours after submission unlike the f.ree
directories that require
several days or even weeks before publishing articles due to the large
volume they
receive every day. It depends on you which route you'd like to
take - f.ree or paid.
Article
directories are also commonly used by those looking for content for
their webite or blog. They may not have the time or resources
to
research and write their own articles, so they look for great content
online that has already been created by others.
What
counts most when using article directories is you know how to
follow their editorial
guidelines. Learning the correct way of submitting your write-ups will
ensure the publication of your articles quickly. Many
directories usually require registration with an option to
include
a photo of the
author while there are also some directories that have very rigid
application rules.
Providing
an interesting author
bio is a basic requirement. This should be given
due consideration because readers want to get to know the
authors
of the
articles they read. And don't forget to post an engaging photo of
yourself as
well to help drive more traffic.
Using
the right keywords is also essential. This means including words in
your article that your readers will most likely use in searching for
your business and other relevant information. Keywords should appear in
the title and body of your article to be easily searched by your target
audience.
Provide useful and engaging information that you know people will
be interested to
read. Other than giving details of your products and services, share
information that
will help them save time or enhance their business success.
Share tips, strategies and
solutions to common
problems related to your field of business and area of expertise.
Some of the
f.ree article directories
you can utilize are
ezinearticles.com and
articlesbase.com.
Finally, don't forget to put at least one link back to your
website in your biography so that readers can easily access
your
website and learn more about you and your expertise.
If they find
your article interesting, chances are they will click through
to your website to find out more about you and what you do in
your
business.

Question
1
What
has been your biggest challenge in business and how did you overcome it?
My biggest challenge was when I returned to property investing after
being away from it for a few years. It didn't help that I had moved to
a completely different area in a new State either. Armed with a few
more years under my belt, it wasn't as easy as it had been when I was
younger, more impulsive, and less knowledgeable. I overcame this by
doing lots of research, forming a great support team, and being very
clear and focused on what it was that I wanted to achieve.
Question
2
If
you had to start your business again from scratch, what would you do
differently?
There are a couple of things I would do differently. The first is that
I would form support networks and teams quicker. The second is that I
would leverage more sooner - hire more people, hire more knowledge,
hire more skills. Lastly, I would seek out mentors right from the
beginning, instead of thinking I could do it all on my own.
Question
3
Who
do you admire and why?
For me it's not
about who, it's all about what. I admire any person who
acts with integrity, courage and honesty - my own value system. I
admire them even more if they combine this with standing up against
adversity, or standing up for what is right, or the underdog. Lastly, I
really admire people who use their lives to make a difference - be it
as a famous personality or the everyday person on the street.
Question
4
It
takes a lot of determination and dedication to succeed in business.
What keeps you motivated?
I'm just so
passionate about what I do! I love creating something out
of nothing, I love seeing the properties evolve, I love seeing other
people succeed and I love being privileged enough to help others. When
I see success, lives changing, shifts in thinking - I just get so
excited and it motivates me to keep doing more!
Question
5
What
are your 3 biggest success tips?
- Work out your own vision for your life and your value
system, and just go for it. Don't let anybody talk you out of it, and
don't be distracted by life and other people's expectations.
- Surround yourself with mentors, a support network,
and positive people.
- Have a go! Don't live your life with regret - you
don't want to be saying in 10 years time "I wish I'd done ...". Do the
work, prepare yourself and have a go!
