Hello New York City (and beyond!),

We are still working hard on the newsletter redesign and are aiming to launch it in the upcoming weeks, so grip your seat hard and hold onto the feeling of anticipation.  If that isn't enough excitement to keep you tuned in, we will also soon be making an announcement for one of our most anticipated "SHAW me the tickets!" contest giveaway we have had all summer. SHAW IS giving away a pair of tickets to each to Doug E. Fresh birthday celebration, Down & Derby Roller Disco and the Trouble & Bass 5 Year Anniversary this week. Due to popular demand of our ticket giveaways (and JaiDee's inbox over flooded with pictures of cute animal entries), we decided to shake things up with new entry rules. Please go to our SHAW Giveaways page and follow the instructions on the upper right corner for your chance to snag free tickets.

This week in other parties that don't include ticket contests, we have the Mexican IndepenDANCE party presented by Mex and the City and Nacotheque, Jogyo‘s release of Rudeboy presented by Dither Down & NickyDigital.com , as well as all our other ultra fun weekly events. This will be a busy personal week for me as well with 3 shows lined up for my personal bands, Dirty Spiders and the NYC debut of Bikini Carwash at Otto's Shrunken Head on Thursday, and our second show being on Sunday at Southpaw with Kentucky Knife Fight and our friends Tyburn Saints in BK.  I hope you can make it to one of my shows so I can show you how multi-talented to I am; Andy Shaw - the man of many faces.
