It's hard to believe it's already half way through August and the summer will soon be over. I hope everyone's got some more trips and final blow outs planned. Congrats to Charlyn Buchanan for winning our Gotham Girls Roller Derby triple header tickets last week.  Those girls know how to kick ass!

We already gave away 4 tickets to this Thursday's Dorney Park Zombie Invasion and we have TWO MORE TICKETS left to giveaway!! We have few new parties this week from Kaviar Disco Club presenting Justin Miller and Justin Strauss and NY Sweaty from Pants Dance both at The Gallery of LPR, a new Bier Disco outdoor dance party by our very own Stephen Pandolfi (who is currently at Grand Cayman working on getting his scuba diving certificate!). We have Terravita at Girls and Boys, upstairs of Webster Hall and Trash! with guest DJ Monikkr at downstairs. (RSVP! ) We also have another exciting showcase from .357 Lover Trapeze Spectacular Showtime Show that's guaranteed to be a great show on Saturday and come Monday we have the monthly Nasty Monday with Omri and Michael T and you know that party is ALWAYS great!

The SHAW crew will be at the Zombie Invasion this Thursday, but unfortunately I will be away on Sunday and miss the Works Engineering's annual bad ass vintage motorcycle block party which I attended every year.  I'm pretty bummed to be missing the show, but everyone should go check out this awesome block party where you can see some of the most beautiful vintage motorcycles in NYC as well as great live bands such as Screaming Rebel Angels , whom my band, The Dirty Spiders, played with last week;  they were such a fun band! And speaking of motorcycles, I was recently in a film shoot with all Triumph motorcycle riders and when the video is done I will post it in the newsletter and in our blogs. Stay tuned!
