Hello New York,

I would like to start by saying "新年快樂!" aka "Happy New Year" in Chinese as we entered the year of the Dragon. In my culture, many parents want their kids to be born on year of the dragon because it signifies good luck and prosperity which created a crazy competition for every generation born in that year, especially in school; I am happy to be an Ox. To help celebrate the dragon, we have a special edition of F.O.M.O (Fear Of Missing Out) with DJs from NY and Chicago, Gant Man, Codes, Jubilee & Cobra Krames. We will certainly be there and hope to see you too!

Also this week we have the Swedish electro house duo Dada Life at Girls & Boys, downstairs at Webster Hall a live show by the amazing dance electro act Tayisha Busay at Trash! which should have every kid in the room dancing down to the floor, plus all our other great weekly parties including Disco Down at Happy Ending, Props at Le Poisson Rouge and parties at The Skinny Bar .

Before I go, I want to tell you about our next "SHAW me the tickets" contest for a very unique and fun party on Saturday February 11: “V – TentaKKles of Love" presented by Kostume Kult . We are so excited to check out this party  that JaiDee bought glow in the dark bubbles! Oh, and  we have a pair tickets for you! This is a costume party, so the winners will have to come dressed up.  See you there!
