Happy Tuesday NYC

The highly anticipated Afro Punk festival is finally upon us and we are very honored to once again be a part of this kick ass festival.  Over the span of two days you will see "Battle of the streets" - BMX & skateboard competition, custom Harley Davidson motorcycle show, "Bites and Beats" food trucks and two stages of great bands and DJs such as Fishbone, Das Racist, Santigold, Janelle Monae, Cee Lo Green, Dances with White Girls and more, FOR FREE!!  If you haven't been to Afro Punk in the past, I will tell you its a must attend event of summer; it is the true essence of what New York City is all about with a rich diversity of underground subcultures, great sporting competitions, and some really big performers on the bill. Did I mention the admission is FREE?!!!

We here at SHAW strive for only the best summers, last week alone we attended  The Rapture private show, Rumbler's classic car show, but the highest achievement was definitely winning an award in the Guinness Book of World Records, with most zombies riding the roller coaster at Dorney Park! The zombies complete control of Dorney Park from 8PM - midnight, waiting no more than a minute for any ride; what a fun and memorable experience.  Much props to Doug Sakmann and NYC Zombie Crawl.  We will definitely be working on more zombie action in the near future, we sure do love a good flash mob!
