Hello New York,
Sunshine, blue sky, spring is in the air and everything in NYC just seems more fun and alive this week.  Last week we checked out the opening ofShame & Ecstasy which was a really funny and sexy show (stay tuned for the next one, "Human Furniture" edition!) and the Nasty Mondays  1 year anniversary last night was also another runaway hit with great bands, a good looking crowd, and we got a quick crash course on cameras from Nicky Digital.  In between the parties I also managed to squeeze in a quick motorcycle trip to City Island in the Bronx and the surrounding parks for Easter weekend which was one of my personal highlight. I have also come to realize that many of my friends do not know where City Island is, so I have conviently provided a link for you to check it out. I am always exploring different areas of NYC and eager to share with friends and our readers, so if you manage to make it up there, go hungry - there is plenty of seafood restaurants.

This week we are celebrating the whopping 5 year anniversary for our beloved Nacotheque party created by our very own SHAW PROMOTION event producer, Amylulita.  We have been so proud of the Nacothequefor its continued success in the alternative Spanish dance party scene, and judging by the number of our RSVPs, it looks like this is shaping up to be a massive jam and shouldn't be missed.  But of course this is a city full of great options and we also have the very special party presented by Benjamin Ickies, Twig the Wonderkid, and Rachel Klein Productions and hosted by Michael T.
