alculated risks. Pouncing on opportunities. Being willing to take a chance on something that you haven't experienced before.

All three of these scenarios have the potential of yielding very satisfactory and rewarding results. This past week, just such instances have been dancing around in my mind.  Opportunities that while new to me, after further investigation and confirmation, have me excited, yet anxious due to not knowing everything that they might entail.

Isn't that just the way though?  Some of life's sweetest successes are those leaps of faith we have taken after having done as much homework as possible, giving ourselves the best chance possible and then letting the wind take us where it may.

While taking such risks every day wouldn't be advisable.  There is a necessary balance that must be struck between routine and novelty, but in order to grow, in order to reach our full potential, we must be willing to set ourselves up for the best opportunity should it come along.

I encourage you today, and myself in kind, to look around yourself. What opportunities have been nudging at your door, asking you to investigate? And then ask yourself, why not? After doing the proper research and preparing yourself as best as is humanly possibly, why not give yourself a chance to reach a potential you didn't know was in you?

Creating your very own simply luxurious life is about taking time for yourself, getting to know your true passions and then sharing them with the world and allowing others to shine in their uniqueness as well. However, to live this way requires each of us to be living consciously - in the moment, but being aware of what has brought us to this point and where we want to go as our future unfolds.

, your simply luxurious life will look like no one else's. And what a wonderful truth that is to realize. Once we stop imitating and start creating, an amazing burden is lifted that we may not know was there. I hope you enjoy this week's newsletter, and I want to thank you for your subscription to The Simply Luxurious Life newsletter. Have a beautiful last weekend in February, and until next week, I'll see you on the blog.

Reader Spotlight

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the more than 50 different bloggers and readers who took the time to participate in my luxury Reader Spotlight series.  As the editor of this newsletter, I was able to see so many new and different ways of viewing luxury, and the most profound lesson I took away from it was that we all have the power to create a luxurious life because it only depends on our perception and our frame of mind. Thank you for this beautiful weekly reminder.

After much contemplation and being realistic with my writing schedule wanting to always provide quality content, I have made the decision to no longer have the Reader Spotlight series. However, I will always continue to seek out and share with you articles and posts from other bloggers who share thoughts, ideas and ways to incorporate even more luxury into each of our daily lives.

Thank you again for all of you who participated. It was a true pleasure to have had the opportunity to work with you and get to know you a bit better.I
