The Simply Luxurious Life newsletter 92

,

Spring will officially arrive this upcoming week (or fall for my Aussie readers), and with the change of seasons comes a desire to change, renew and refresh one or more aspects in our lives.  As you can see The Simply Luxurious Life has received a bit of a facelift. Nothing extreme, just a few touch-ups.

After pouring over your feedback last weekend and determining how to best provide inspiration and simply luxurious tips as authentically as possible, I decided first of all to change my illustration. With the talents of Inslee Designs, she has created yet another stylish image that better reflects who I am and what a simply luxurious life should feel like.

With the illustration of my dog Norman taking what resembles me and my attempt at French chic style, I couldn't believe how closely it resembles who I am and how I live my life. However, because I have other illustrations that I look forward to sharing with you from time to time, the logo of The Simply Luxurious Life are the initials "SL" which appears below.

A few other changes on the blog that I want to bring your attention to:

*The social networking buttons will now all be located in the upper left-hand corner of the blog above the header for easier access.

*The Simply Luxurious Life bookstore, where you will find all of the books, music, magazines, beauty and other items that I have read or used and highly recommend, is now accessible on the Recommendations page as well as the Book Reviews page.

*A "Read More" option is now available for each post in order to allow quicker scroll time as you search for the post you'd most like to read. Simply click on "Read More" to read the post in its entirety.

*Links to my favorite blogs and websites (formerly titled Lovely Sites) has been moved to the Recommendations page.

So with all of the business out of the way, let's get back to more enjoyable discussion. Spring . . . .

The evenings have more daylight, the temperatures are ever-so slightly increasing and I am seeing my lawn becoming greener and greener by the minute which is absolutely exhilarating.

Needless to say, there is much to look forward to, so I thought this post from the archives was the perfect one to include this week:

In this week's newsletter you'll find a simply luxurious recipe that I am confident your taste buds will find scrumptious, tips for simplifying those daily and weekly chores we all have to do, as well as an idea to improve the quality of your life and stimulate your mind in this week's Why Not . . . ?

So many of you made the request for the return of financial posts, and so the first of what I hope will be a handful more appeared this past Tuesday with a conversation about Retirement Savings.

Pinterest continues to keep my attention, and so I've added three new boards - Vogue US covers, Yard and Garden and Outfit Ideas. Click here to see all of the boards and have a glimpse at more simply luxurious style.

Also, a heads up to my subscribers. Be sure to stop by this upcomingTuesday, as there will be a giveaway for those of you who want to add an item or two to your wardrobe.

More than anything I want to thank you for continuing to stop by, share your ideas, introduce yourself and for having a desire to create your own unique simply luxurious life.  I hope the upcoming change of seasons invites beautiful and positive opportunities and moments for you to enjoy. And as always, revel in the upcoming weekend. Until next week, I'll see you on the blog.
