Often times our lives pick up the pace when we aren't exactly ready, or at least we think we aren't.  But as I go through life, I realize that life doesn't always ask us when we want our dreams to take off.  However, the good news is, it is listening to what we want and observes quite attentively how hard we are working to achieve what we so desperately want.

With that said, if your life takes off at a speed you're not comfortable with, yet you are comfortable with what it is offering you, take a moment to adjust yourself, toss aside anything that is losing importance or you are realizing wasn't as important as you once thought, and choose to immerse yourself in the wonderful opportunity that is sitting in front of you, impatiently waiting for you to jump on.  And be sure, the opportunity won't wait forever, so don't take its presence for granted.

However, just before you jump on, why not catch your breath and reassure yourself that you are heading in the right direction.  It most likely is the case that it isn't the perfect moment for it to knock on your door, but then again, nothing will ever be perfect, but it can surpass your expectations.

Well, the past week in New York has been full of fall fashions, and I must say I am inspired . . . to shop that is, and oh, how hard is it not to shop.  With many beautiful collections, I gathered up my favorites and you will find them all down the right-hand column of the newsletter.

While it was the week of fashion, it also seemed to be the week of Adele. With her taking home six Grammys on Sunday and being recently announced as the cover girl of Vogue's March issue, she certainly is at the top of her game and doesn't seem to be stopping any time soon.  Her success is much deserved, and I couldn't be more thrilled for her.

Hopefully Valentine's Day treated you well regardless of your relationship status.  After all, the premise of the day is about celebrating love, whether it is the love you share with a partner or the love you have for the life you have created for yourself, you most certainly should be celebrating.  Keeping the holiday open for anyone to celebrate, this week's readers' favorite focused on just this concept - 14 Ways to Enjoy Valentine's Day: Single or Coupled

And before I go, if you are looking for even more simply luxurious inspiration, be sure to stop by my Pinterest boards (click here to view) where you will find images of beautiful decor, chic fashion, delectable food, my reading recommendations and even more inspiration.

I do hope the weekend ahead is available for you to rest and rejuvenation and if you have a three day weekend, may you savor every moment even more.  Until next week, I'll see you on the blog.
