pring is here in all of its glory and with it, trends and styles that hold quite a bit of potential. Living a simply luxurious life is living mindfully in our style choices and regarding our pocketbooks so that not only do we choose items to add to our closets that are quality pieces that will enhance what we already have, but we also fall asleep at night with the peace of mind knowing we've stayed without our budget.

What I've gathered for you today are two ways of looking at what the spring runways had to offer - pieces that are worth investing in because they will have the legs to hold up season after season due to their classic appeal as well as those trendy items that while I wouldn't splurge on, might be fun to add to your repetoire for the season at the right price.

With any fashion decision, the most important things to keep in mind are your body type, what flatters your figure and your lifestyle. And as long as you have the basics in your closet, creating a strong foundation to build upon, your ability to approach the new season's styles will be all the more pleasant because you've already taking the time to properly construct a sounds starting off point.

During both the fall and spring seasons, I enjoy taking the time to go through my closet and check it against my 10 Essential Wardrobe & 10 Essential Shoe List to see if there are any pieces that I need to add, update or toss.  This task also provides a detailed look into my closet to see what I already have and gives me an opportunity to come up with different outfit ideas and saving me money in the long run.

A few other things I have included in this season's newsletter are all of the runway shows that were full of simply luxurious style. In the right-hand column you will find each show, and if you'd like to see more of the collection, simply click on the link to gather more ideas on how to include the spring styles into your wardrobe.  Also, I did a bit of shopping for you, some are luxury items, but most are luxury for less pieces.  Take a look, enjoy doing some window shopping and to gather even more guidance on how to be a savvy shopping who always looks stylish pick up Nina Garcia's book The Less-Is-More Approach to Staying Chic and Shopping Smart which I highly recommend as it is full of beautiful illustrations and cost effective ways to always look your best without spending too much.

Happy shopping and here's to being simply luxurious this season and always.
